is there any sound at all coming from the toy? if there"s no sound try pressing the power button down for 30 secs without any powersource...after that place batts back in and try turning it on. if it doesnt work you may want to call their hotline

you can use vtech ac adaptor...

the charge imdicator is suppose to blink when you plug the toy to the wall adaptor. if it doesnt blink then there's something wrong with either the adaptor, the adaptor port on the toy or the rechargeable power packs. now i said that the light is suppose to blink. but the frequency of the blinks shouldnt be fast. if that's the case clean the compartments and re-insert the batteries. if you are still having problems try the ff T/S:

1)remove the power packs, plug the toy to adaptor and turn it on. if it turns on that means your adaptor is working.
2)remove the adaptor and try using just the power packs.
3)try using 4aa batteries.

if the toy turns on with only one of the power sources stated above you better call vtech hotline.

Try recharging the batteries, or try using another powersource. if this does not resolve the issue then you may need to call their hotline

Try to uncheck the checkbox indicating administrative account thay holds up to secure data..

The volume control does not work? I think this one is already defective and needs to be replaced.
