Just restore to default setting that will erase the password they have on it, instructions are as followed. To Restore Default Settings :

  1. From the XMB home menu, go to alt="Settings icon"> (Settings) > alt="System Settings icon">(System Settings) > [Restore Default Settings].

    alt="Restore Default settings screenshot 1">

  2. Once you select [Restore Default Settings], you will see a list of settings that will be restored. Scroll through them and press the alt="X button icon"> button to restore the settings.

    alt="Restore Default settings screenshot 2">

  3. After the operation is complete, you will see the initial setup screen that appeared the first time you turned on the PS3. You will need to go through the initial set up process before you can use the PS3.

IMPORTANT

The Restore Default Settings feature will erase any previously saved settings and restore all of the following settings to the default:

  • Game Settings
  • Video Settings
  • Music Settings
  • Chat Settings
  • System Settings

This includes terms added using alt="Settings icon"> (Settings) > alt="System Settings icon">(System Settings) > [Add/Edit Term], or predictive terms "learned" by the on-screen keyboard.

  • Theme Settings

This includes the information about the image set as wallpaper under alt="Photo icon"> (Photo). Also, theme, color, background and font settings under alt="Settings icon"> (Settings) > alt="Theme Settings icon">(Theme Settings).

  • Date and Time Settings
  • Power Save Settings
  • Printer Settings
  • Accessory Settings

This includes keyboard or mouse settings under alt="Settings icon">(Settings) > alt="Accessory Settings icon"> (Accessory Settings). Also, Voice changer settings under alt="Settings icon"> (Settings) > alt="Accessory Settings icon"> (Accessory Settings) > [Voice Changer].

  • Display Settings
  • Sound Settings
  • Security Settings
  • Remote Play Settings
  • Network Settings
  • Internet Browser Settings

This includes bookmarks, history, and settings added under alt="Internet Browser icon"> (Internet Browser).

  • PlayStation®Network log in information

This will remove the PlayStation Network sign-in ID and password for the user who is currently logged in.

Also, do not confuse [Restore Default Settings] with the [Restore PS3 System] option (the next option down on the menu). The [Restore PS3 System] will not only restore the default settings, but it will also delete all hard disk content. (You will lose all saved content from your PS3 system's hard drive if you use [Restore PS3 System].)

Unless you know the password they used you would need to completely re-initialize the unit as it was a new one, from the beginning, to wipe it out completely and set it back to factory defaults (sledge-hammer reset).

There is no way I know of to retrieve this lost password if you do not also know the owner's PSN information, which I'm sure you cannot get to. You might Google the question.

Are there parental control options on wii consoles to block mature language on Black Opts?

Simply put, no there are not. Though you can use parental controls to block a game with a mature or adult rating, at current Black Ops has not provided any means by which to block specific language. Equally, there are no hardware options that can modify Wii software-- either the game company supplies the option or it does not.

Will not save music once we put a CD in.

I want to say that this feature is through the game and not the actual playstation. The only game I've been able to add my own music to is MLB 09.

I put my my ps3 game in and it doesnt do anythin and with other

This is probably because your lens has gone bad. You need to take it to a Sony Service Center and get the lens replaced.

If you own a 40GB or a 60GB one, this is a common problem.

Ps2 action replay wont work on 60gb ps3

The Playstation (R) 3 has most likely been patched. I find it knocks back not only Action Replay but XPLODER also (The EU version of Gameshark) both for PS2 it is likely that SONY has blocked it out to stop consumers playing region locked dvd movies. So if you in UK you can only play Region 2 PAL dvd's, if you in the us, you can only play Region 1 NTSC dvds. If in AUS, you can only play Region 4 Dvd Disc....etc.... AR Max had a feature to bypass this problem, thus why sony has probably patched against it. As for a solution I am also searching for one, truth be told, I don't think there is one.

You should boot up your codes on your PS2, then the game.
Save your game.
Then copy your save game to your PS3.

Hope this helps.

Backwards compatability

actuallly a lot of ps2 games can be played with the HDMI connected. I do it all the time... however yes the 60 gig will not play every ps2 game and there is a whole slew of the 60 gigs that are not backwards compatable at all. check it out on wikipedia's page on the ps3.

I haven't had a problem with any ps2 game yet, and the only ps game that I own that hasn't played on my ps3 is FF8.
