How do I coordinate my iPhone with Facebook so I can post pictures

Facebook has a backup program on all its mobile variants, and since it's opt-out (and not opt-in), you need to disable the sync of your photos from your iPhone to your Facebook page manually. You can do this at either the system level or browser level:
System Level: disable Photo sync adapter under Facebook account sync in Settings
Browser level: Adjust the privacy of that folder so that only you can see its content.

Well you post the picture and like how you do it on facebook type there instagram name and then they will be taged in the picture

open facebook, select where you want the image, click Upload and select the picture.

Download Facebook app on your iPhone 4s or plug your phone into your computer.

You confuse me a little bit, but if you mean on phone app, download the newest facebook app for your phone:

Or just use the browser of your phone to upload photos by phone ( in some cases , like on iphone 3g (old one) you can't upload by browser because he can't support posting photos directly , but can post it directly by email, they should give you this option when you try to upload it.

If you post from the browser on your iPhone, I think that's when it says mobile. If you post from the app or built-in facebook window, the I believe that's when it says iphone.

If you're using the Facebook iPhone app, you can look at a photo, click the "square with an arrow coming out of it" icon at the bottom left corner, and it'll have options, push "save photo" to save it to your phone.
If you're using the Safari web browser for iPhone, you can save a picture by pressing the picture for a few seconds until it brings up a menu which lets you "save image".

I guess The nick "facebook phone" comes from a post on scobleizer, that claims Nokia N97 phone to be the ultimate Facebook device.

Scobleizer recons it's better then the iPhone here his reasons -

1. It does 16:9 video. The iPhone doesn’t even do video. So, how can you go to a Daft Punk concert and record it to taunt your friends?

2. It has a 5 megapixel camera. The iPhone only has 2, and the quality isn’t even close. The camera also has a dual LED flash, so you can take pictures in the dark where the iPhone can’t.

3. I can type three Facebook status messages on the N97’s nice QWERTY keybord in the time that I can type two on the iPhone.

4. It does copy and paste, so you can copy URLs to send to your friends. The iPhone can’t do that.

5. It has replaceable batteries so you can charge up three batteries and Facebook for days, while the iPhone needs to be hooked back up to the wall for recharging after a few hours.

6. The GPS device does turn-by-turn and has a built in compass, so you’ll get to your parties faster than with the iPhone, which doesn’t have a compass and doesn’t do turn-by-turn.
