I forgot my password and ive tried several times to retrieve it but im not getting the email 6 digit number they say they are sending so i can retrieve it

i don't know. consider contacting provider for olde phone number. for a fee they may let you activate it until you no
longer need it. you may have to go in person with lots of identification to prove specific details. - eg, personal photo ID and invoices for olde phone number in your name and
address.

Go into the email server which usually requests user name then click 'forgot password' The server should send an email with temp password and instructions on resetting a new password Ive had to do this a lot Good Luck

Some sites send a verification code via text as part of the password retrieval/resetting procedure, and this code needs to be entered n the verification page rather than as a password. Are you sure this is not the case here as I have had 6 digit verification codes from several sites in this way, and they did not work as passwords.

There should be a "Can't access your account?" or "Need help?" or similar link on the sign-in page.

if you forgot your secret password on your email address,you can still retrieve it by putting you alternate email address that you place on file when you registered your main email address before.

if your using yahoo,here are the steps:
1.go to yahoo.com
2.click on sign in
3.click on i cant access my account
4.click on i forgot my password
5.type your yahoo id
6.type your alternate email

then the password of your main email address will be send out to your alternate email address,then from there you can see the reset password link that was send to you by facebook to change your password on that website.
