Error code E000002 in Canon IR2520

problem with fuser.Go to the following to clear error:CLEAR<ENGIN<ERRCLR;and than turn off the machine and back ON.Check the connectors;replace the main thermistor;replace the fixing film;replace fix.assy. ; replace DC controller

To enter service mode

1) Press the User Mode key.
2) Press 2 and 8 on the keypad at the same time.
3) Press the User Mode key on the control panel.

Then press COPIER>FUNCTION>ENGIN>ERRCLEAR.
And make power OFF and ON.
If not solved..
1.Check connection of the Connectors (Thermistor Connector
and AC Connector).
2.Replace the Fixing Main Thermistor (Film Unit).
3.Replace the Fixing Assembly.
4.Replace the DC Controller PCB

This is a problem dealing with the fixing assembly and the thermistors not reading the coorect temp in a specific amount of time. The only thing that can be done is to replace the fixing film assembly and is best done by a qualified service man. These fixing assemblies have to be taken completely apart to replace the film and maybe even the pressure roller and heat sink. Good Luck.

this error is power related. reset the fixing error by pressing * 2 & 8 then * Go to function, clear, error switch off the machine then switch on

OK, but first try to clear the error under service mode, then replace fixing film assy, for EU 240V is FG6-6041.
To clear the error:
* 2 8 *
COPIER
FUNCTION
CLEAR
ERR
OK
Turn off and on ( main switch )

If this dont help - replace fixing film assy.

E00002 on iR3300 is problem on the heater assembly. Replace heater assembly and buy new heater assembly. Good Luck...!?
