E68 error code is a stuck button error code. You can try to wiggle each button on the control panel to make sure they are all functioning freely. If so, then unplug the dryer and leave it unplugged a couple minutes then plug the dryer back in to clear the electronic panel's error code. If the panel still shoes E68, then you'll need to replace the panel. Part#134557201

E68 is a stuck button error code... There is a diagnostic video for this on YouTube. You will have to get a new control board to fix the problem because the buttons are part of the board... Frigidaire Dryer Main Control Board 134557200

E68 for this model number says in manual that this is for a "button stuck" or held down for more than 30 seconds

ck all your buttons for one that just doesn't "feel right" when its pressed , this one will be your problem

From what you have described your Frigidaire dryer is showing a "E68" error code. "E68" usually indicates that one of the keys (buttons) is stuck closed (active). You may enter "Function Test Mode" and perform Key Test to determine which button is at fault. To perform the "Function Test Mode": Press and hold the START and CANCEL button at the same time for 10 seconds. The stuck key should blink. Carefully free the key and perform the test again after proper diagnosis. If button is free but the error code still exists, the electronic control will more than likely need replacing. The code E68 appears when one of the buttons on the keypad is stuck in the down position. This is a common error with several different Frigidaire dryer models and tends to occur when the dryer is five or more years old. You may be able to un-stick the offending key manually. You may have an igniter issue, thermostat, or a gas valve coil issue. Make sure a heat selection is made also.
