How do I unlock the memory card

Remove the battery.
Wait for 5 minutes.
Check your phone-sim and memory-sim is inserted correctly.
Replace the battery.
Try one of the following immediately after you turn on the power and while the power comes on...

• Combination 1 - Volume Up + Camera button.
• Combination 2 - Volume Down + Power button.
• Combination 3 - Volume Up + Power button.
• Combination 4 - Volume Up + Home + Power button.
• Combination 5 - Volume Down + Volume Up + Power button.
• Combination 6 - Home + Camera button.
• Combination 7 - Home + Power button

Combination 2 has worked for me in the past, but it depends on your Tablet type and model.

Step 1:

to unlock memory card password, u will need a memory card unlocker device. it will cost you nearly 10$.

Step 2:

now plug this device into your pc or laptop's usb port and insert your locked memory card. a led light will glow for few seconds(reading memory card). after few seconds that led light will turn off automatically and now you can press unlock button on this device. that led will glow again for few seconds. when led again turns off then you can remove your memory card and it is successfully unlocked.

my micro sd card has been dlocked by me on my nokia x2 02 mobile and this is not unlocked by any default key please help me.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

If that doesn't do it, try another card and see what happens with that one.

This is what I did to unlock a memory card password in my nokia phone. You can try it in yours First is you unlock the phone

1. Turn off the phone and insert the memory card into the memory card slot. Turn the phone back on.Press the "Menu" button on the main screen and click on the option for "Extras."


2. Scroll down to the bottom of the list. Click the selection for "Memory Card."


3. Select the "Options" icon on the screen. Scroll through the list to the "Unlock Memory Card" option and press "OK."


4. Type in the unlock password in the password field. If you do not know the password, the default unlock code is either "12345" or "1357."


• Delete the Memory Card Password

1. Turn off the phone and insert the memory card into the memory card slot. Turn the phone back on.Press the "Menu" button on the main screen and click on the option for "Fun & Apps."


2. Navigate to the option for "Gallery" and click on the "OK" button. Scroll to the "Memory Card" item and then click on "Options." Scroll to "Memory Card."


3. Click "Delete Password" when the window prompt appears. Make sure the message "Memory card will be unlocked, do you want to continue" appears. Click on the option for "Yes" to confirm.


4. Scroll down to the password field and enter in the default password. If you do not know the password, the default unlock code is either "12345" or "1357." Click "OK" to delete the password from being required.

We enable a password security on our Nokia phone to keep the data on the memory card private and not accessible to others. However, many times you may have come up across a situation wherein you have completely forgotten the password of the memory card or simply the access to the memory card is denied.
Even though you have tried your best to come up with all the combinations of the passwords that strike in your mind but all your efforts seems to be going in vain. Instead of panicking in such a situation, you can stay calm and perform a few troubleshooting steps to access the phone’s memory card.
One of the easiest ways to unlock or access a blocked memory card of your phone is to rename the memory card. Here are the steps you can take to rename the phone’s memory card:

• On your Nokia phone, press the Menu button and go to Gallery> Memory Card (Please note the location of the Memory Card on the phone’s software may vary with different models).
• Do not open the Memory Card folder but only highlight it and then select Options > Rename and put a new name to your Memory Card by replacing the old name and press OK.
• Restart the phone and you will be able to access your cell phone’s memory card easily.

Please remove the memory card and try to take a picture...
If the camera works then the memory card "Write Protect" slider switch is set to "Lock" or the memory card is bad.

go to settings in your phone look for a button that says memory inside you will get several options depending on your phone it will normally say something like lock memory and unlock memory of course you want to unlock memory.. if this does not work pull your memory card and on the side of the memory card is a very small slider button that says lock and unlock just select unlock and your ready to go.. I hope this has been of some help at the very least it gives you an idea where to look and what to look for

It is impossible to find out the security code as the phone gets blocked try taking it to a nokia costomer care on a free day thy'll reset your password.in the case of memory card belive me theres no software to unlock it try all possible combinations as it does not get blocked if not a 1gb card just costs around rs150. 

I had the same problem - just put the lock button of the card to the lock position and than again to the unlock position
