Most handheld power tools have a tank vent that will hold some pressure, Don't quote me. But If I turn the saw sideways and the vent allowed fuel to drain out THIS WOULD CREATE A FIRE HAZARD. If the fuel is boiling when you open the fuel cap could this be a engine temperature problem? or low octane fuel.
The tank vent is on the top right hand corner ( as you stand behind the saw ) of the fuel tank, you should be able to see it between the crankcase and the tank, there will be a black pipe coming from it up to the carb area, it is pushed into the tank, you can buy it as an assembly 537338101.

Methodology to arrive at the bow part number "HQ-100"
An Oregon bar for a Husky 455 is mount/oiler configuration "095" ( the last part of any Oregon replacement bar).
A Oregon bar for a Husky 55 is also mount/oiler configuration "095".
You can check my Oregon research here: Oregon Bar & Chain Selector http://www.oregonchain.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG
This bow http://www.cheapchainsawparts.com/cmp_HQ-100_part.html
is the replacement bow for a Husky 55; it should also fit a Husky 455. I make no affirmation there are no modifications required, applicability of this application, or even that it will fit.
I looked at a 2007 IPL, your saw has a separate fuel tank vent. Husky is terrible about providing a nomenclature and you may need help from your local Husky dealer to identify components.
Find your "Illustrated parts lists" here: HusqvarnaUSA.com http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/ Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers) Serial number decode – for use with IPL 06 1500198 06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000) 15 = week produced - March 00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

All chainsaws are air cooled. The problem is the cylinder head often sits underneath the gas tank. People fill their tanks with a mixture of gasoline and oil and often spill it or overfill the tank causing that oily mixture to coat the cylinder often. Then all the saw dust and dirt sticks to the oil and pretty soon the cooling fins on the cylinder head and all the parts surrounding it are coated with an oily dirty grime that keeps air from circulating around the cylinder head letting it cool normally. I'm not that familiar with a Husky but you need to be careful about other parts in the area, but you need to clean off the cylinder head so that it can get some cooling and quit heating up the gas in your tank. Usually there is a vent in the gas cap also and if it's plugged it will cause the gas tank to pressure up and force more gas than is necessary into the carburetor. Either clean the vent or buy a new gas cap.
