Cancel call forward - NorStar M7324 Telephone

If you forwarded the analog to the digital you probably used a feature access code. So this code will either turn it off if entered into the forwarded phone. Or there is a call forward cancel fac that would turn it off. There may be a clear all features code that programmed that would cancel the forwarding as well. All of these options would need to be dialed from the forwarded (analog) phone.

Please speak to your network operator to cancel call forwarding for you or they would give you a command which you would need to enter in your device dial to cancel the same if the software is not allowing it.

#73 is a a feature you use on a telephone line to cancel call forwarding (cfw) of an outside call (some codes may differ). You need to have the dial tone of that outside line to cancel the cfw. to cancel the cfw of a norstar set (internal calls to extension) just press the cfw key or press 'feature #4'

How did you set up call forwarding? If it involved pressing *72, then try pressing *73 to cancel. If that doesn't do it, contact your telephone company for instructions regarding call forwarding.

On the extension that is forwarding use Feature #4 to cancel the call forwarding unless it is programmed under the capabilities section in programming. This will require someone with programming ability to make the forwarding change back to the voice mail access number.

To set Unconditional Call Forward ON Dial "*72" for a dial tone. Dial the forwarding number followed by "#". Wait for dial tone. LCD will display "Call FWD Activated"
To Cancel Unconditional Call Forward: dial "*73" and get the dial tone, then hang up. LCD will display "Call FWD Activated

but, since you have tried those two, it could be that there might still be a different type of call forward option that is still ON, on your phone like Busy Call Forward and Delayed Call Forward 1. To Cancel Busy Call Forward: dial "*91". Wait for dial tone. Hang up.
2.To Cancel Delayed Call Forward: Dial "*93" for a dial tone, then hang up.

The most common star code to cancel call forwarding is *73

Usually there are codes for call forwarding and forwarding cancel. I always program up *8 for call forward and #8 for call forward cancel. On your phone try a few numbers. First try *1 make sure you are on a phone with a display. Read the display and see what it says. If it is not what you need hangup. Then try the next number *2. Remember the #_ is usually the cancel.
