I have a 2 control mattress heater. One side works fine but the other will show a f error when put on preheat

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Check that the control is tightly connected to the module in the blanket. Re-plug the power cord into the wall outlet. On a digital control, you should see flashing symbols and the display on your control will clear.

Cant find the block heater cord

need more info, what year, make, model, engineering. just because the owners manual says.there is a block heater, that doesn't mean you have one look around, try to find a short power cord that you would plug into a extension cord, also look at the engine block, look.at all your freeze plugs, this is where most block heaters go, if you do not see anything in.any of the freeze plugs, then.you do not have one the other kind of engine heater, would be in the top or bottom radiator hoses, or even.heat core hoses, again.there would be.a.cord.to.plug into. most of the time, they would pull the cord up to the front, by the grill, so you can plug it in

Electric plug gets hot when pluged in. Is this dangerous to replace plug. i have two one is alright.

Shirley, more than likely, the heater cord's plug is not the problem. Something inside the heater is over heating and causing the plug to over heat. Since it's a molded plug, I don't suspect the cord has been damaged inside the plug, unless someone unplugged it, by pulling on the cord, rather than pulling the plug out. So, just replacing the plug is not a safe option at this time. A small appliance repair shop, can test the heater and tell you what is wrong and if it's worth repairing.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa..

Remington r8150 shaver - new. Charged and 60 shows in lcd window. Pick up shaver and press the on button - get several 'hockey stick' patterns in the lcd window and shaver does not turn on. 60 starts...

It sounds like it may have am internal loose connection or bad battery. You should be able to plug the cord directly into the bottom of the shaver and run directly from the cord if needed

Battery will not charge on a dell d610 when plugged into outlet

I have seen this with faulty batteries.
Try changing the battery.
Also, check in the BIOS that the adapter you are using is recognised and shows a state of charging with the battery in.

Can not find my engine warmer plug for my 2003 ford f 350

glow plugs run off the battery . the plug is for a block heater that you may or may not have . if you have a plug it is behind the grill on pass side , it has a cap over the prongs so you might not think of it as a plug untill you pull the cover off . if you ask nice any shop in your area will show you where it is or where its not . good luck

Notebook not starting and screen remains blank.

this will be easer than you think.
first unplug power cord, pull out your battery and test it by pushing the button on the battery. It will be dead. leave it out. plug in power cord, nothing should work. test your power cord. if nothing than test lower on the cord it might be the plug in that plugs into the laptop. what happens is the battery get to low and the lappy goes into a safe mode . you will need a charged battery to get it to boot.
