I've been looking high and low to see if I could find you one for free, but I can not.

You'll have to contact Singer to get a replacement instruction manual. They cost around $10.

I'm sorry I couldn't find you one for free.

Hope this helps. =)

My singer stylist 418 is making a squealing noise when it sews. I have cleaned & oiled. what might be the problem?

You Are Using the Wrong Bobbin If they are too small, they can bounce around in your bobbin case and cause a knocking or clunking noise. If they are too big, they will not spin freely in your bobbin case.

How to replace a belt on singer model 223 machine

Your motor has a couple of screws to hold the tension on the belt. Loosen them and pull the belt off and then remove the belt off of the hand wheel. Put the new one on. While you are moving the motor to adjust tension on the belt you should have the motor running so that you can adjust where the motor has the least resistance.

Singer 3232 machine was sewing fine now motor runs but needle does not move up and down

Check if the machine is in the bobbin winding mode. To wind the bobbin, the bobbin spindle has to be moved to the right. (The hand wheel will not turn if the bobbin spindle is in this position.) If it is, move the spindle to the left.

If the hand wheel turns, then check for a thread jam. Remove the top thread and take out the bobbin case. Gently turn the hand wheel forward and backwards until the thread comes free of the hook in the bobbin race. Follow this by cleaning any lint from the bobbin race of the sewing machine.

The last possibility is that the belt has failed. This belt transfers the energy from the motor to the needle bar. One source of the belt is http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/motor-belt-singer-007158xxl5.aspx . You can find YouTube videos on changing the belt. There are other parts that transfer the forces form the belt to the needle bar. However, I suggest you find a good sewing machine mechanic if any of these parts fail.

The manual has good pictures of the bobbin spindle on page 11 (page 18 of the PDF). Singer has the manual on their support page: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals . The direct link to the manual is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/e06cb85928ace9753f1a7124f4a2df6168ffecf0.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Thread wrapped around sewing machine wheel & under belt, how do i get the wheel off to remove thread??? Singer HD 4423 model.

It depends on your model. If you look at it and it has what looks like a white disk in the center, that disk is covering a screw. Pop it off and take out the screw.

If it doesn't, then it's what's known as a "force fit." You need to squeeze it while gently rocking it until it comes off. Larger hands make the process easier.

Singer CG500 Needle hits the needle plate. Needle was replaced. Verified needle in correctly. Tried hand wheel - still hits. Machine has yet to be used!!

Unless you need all the bells and whistles to sew get you a pre-1930 treadle or handcrank. I have 2 electric Singers, 1947 model 66 and 1948 201-2 both with attachments. Also I have 1903 Singer handcrank made in Scotland. The plastic new one just don't have the ability to hang in there .... All my pre 1930 Singers sew... I love them!

Singer industrial sewing machine

It might be the way you're asking that's confusing the problem. It's simple to remove the hand wheel, slip the belt over the track, and then replace the hand wheel. It really depends on the model of your machine - is it by chance a 328K?
