Ok problem with monitoring

If you are experiencing a mid-range humming from your monitors when using your Allen & Heath PA12-CP mixer, there may be a problem with the signal level or the cables.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
  1. Check the signal level of the sources that are being sent to the monitors (e.g. kick drum, snare, etc.). Make sure they are not too loud or too quiet, as this can cause the limiter to engage and create a humming sound.
  2. Check the cables that are connected to the monitors. Make sure they are not damaged or loose, and that they are properly connected to the mixer and the monitors.
  3. Try using a different set of monitors to see if the problem persists. If the humming is still present, the problem may be with the mixer itself.
  4. If you are still experiencing a humming sound, you may need to contact Allen & Heath customer support for assistance. They will be able to provide you with more detailed troubleshooting steps and help you resolve the issue.
Overall, if you are experiencing a humming sound from your monitors when using your Allen & Heath PA12-CP mixer, the problem may be with the signal level, the cables, or the mixer itself. Follow the steps above to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

I would like to buy a case for The Allen & Heath ZED-436 is an audio mixer that gives you 32 mono inputs plus 2 dual stereo channels. Which one do you recommend that can fit it well. Please send me...

Cases are being sold on Ebay, new, from several sources, and if you can't find one specifically listed for your unit, contact the sellers as they custom build them. That is a big unit... expect to pay around $150 to $200 for an ATA type case for it.

Here is an example for a Heath/Allen 420. http://cgi.ebay.com/ATA-CASE-ALLEN-HEATH-ZED-420-ZED-420-ZED420-MIXER-/400127078772?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d296eb174

I have bought from them before myself and there are others on Ebay so shop around... You can contact the companies and ask for a specific one and DO compare the size to your unit that they specify as all the companies do not accept returns...

Service manual ZED 436 urgent

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2457401/Allen-And-Heath-Zed-420.html#product-ZED%20436

The site appears to have an 11 page service manual. You can try the link above. However, with I initially went to the primary site for the service manual, it listed user manuals and a service manual and when I clicked on the service manual, I got a scam alert that my computer was locked. I exited that and tried again and for some reason, did not get the alert again. You might want to run Malwarebytes after exploring this or do a virus scan.

Hi there. When I power on the mxer it blinks all the signal light and the power light with the sound level indicator repeatedly untill i turn the unit off, I cannot use the mixer and would like to know...

Make sure ALL interconnected equipment is powered by the same receptacle or power conditioner. Do NOT use separate recptacles at opposite ends of a romm for example. Run power extension back with your snake. There may be a failure in the unit. Since it is so new, exercise your warranty... do NOT risk voiding the warranty. Do verify that your power is clean.
