I have an hp cp1215 color laserjet printer. After replacing all my toner cartridges, I get solid greenish color print for the full page of print. It looks like a green photo with about 3/8inch border around the 8 1/2 x 11 paper. This is all it will print. I had the same problem before tech support said to replace the toners. Still the Sam problem. Can you tell from this what the problem is? Running Microsoft xp professional.

Blurred prints are usually fuser related.

Sounds like you have a defective cartridge. Replace that cartridge and retry.

Mostly black lines prints due to problem in the Black toner cartridge. remove the Black toner out and inspect the toner drum, whether are their any black patch on the toner drum. If it so there's a problem in the black toner. Replace a new black toner and check.

The cyan toner cartridge (CB541A) spilled toner, change it for a new one.

Unfortunately laser printers don't work this way. The laserjet 1022 was designed for black and white prints only. In order to do color printing with a laser printer you will need to purchase one that is designed to print in color. The laser printers work a bit differently than the inkjets - the laser printers have 4 toner cartridges, one each for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, that work together to print a full color page. With the old inkjets you could just replace a black cartridge with a color one.

So, short answer: Sorry but no you can't make a laserjet 1022 print in color. :)

I would recommend looking at an entry level color laser printer from hp, such as the CP2025 (http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF25a/18972-18972-3328060-15077-236268-3673580.html) if you are looking into purchasing a color laserjet.

I am not familiar with the model, but the toner cartridges I use have a tab you have to pull that is attached to a long plastic strip that releases the toner. This has to be removed before you can use the cartridge. Just asking to be sure.

The supply status report is based on what the kill chip is reporting to the printer. If that particular color is not printing then it is likely that current is not flowing though a particular component in the cartridge. I would return the cartridge and get a replacement.

Replace the Magenta Toner cartridge.
