SOURCE: Beko Freestanding Dishwasher

Hi there ....this condition is ususally caused by a water leak into the sump of the dishwasher which activates a safety switch to run the drain pump..preventing the appliance from being used....Remedy...tip the dishwasher back in the head allowing excess water to exit from the sump...then with the door open check that the air vent lock ring is secure, thet the salt unit retaining ring is secure..and finally that the filter unit to base screws are secure...this done re-start and you should b fine

SOURCE: No water running to dishwasher

I had this problem and almost tossed this thing out the window. The water stopped pumping into the washer but the cycles kept on going... HERES HOW YOU FIX IT!! In the front bottom right you see the mushroom shaped float..... on the underside of the dishwasher you see that is pushing down on a switch. Its a simple little switch but the plastic pin connected to the float is easy to knock off the switch witch always leaves it in the up position !!! this is telling the washing machine that it is full of water. Find a way to keep the plastic pin on top of the metal switch and this will fix your problem. I used tape with a small piece of paper to keep from sticking to the pine or switch!!

SOURCE: Hi, my zanussi zdf221 dishwasher wont work, it

The outlet pump is triggered by the anti flood micro switch via the polystyreene float on the base of the washer. If any water for whatever reason (leaky pipe)is on the floor the machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and only works once the water and the cause is rectified

Miele G1142 dishwasher drain pump and flashing lights.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that your Miele dishwasher is experiencing a drain pump issue, which could be causing the flashing lights and the non-stop running of the pump. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Turn off the power to the dishwasher: The first step is to turn off the power to the dishwasher by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker. Wait for a few minutes and then turn it back on.
  2. Check the drain hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, as this could prevent the water from draining properly. If you find any blockages, remove them and test the dishwasher again.
  3. Clean the filters: Check the dishwasher's filters and make sure they are clean and free of debris. Dirty filters can cause drainage problems.
  4. Check the drain pump: If the drain pump is still running non-stop, it may be faulty and need to be replaced. Before you do this, however, make sure that the pump is not clogged with debris. You can do this by removing the pump and inspecting it for blockages.
  5. Contact Miele's customer service: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be time to contact Miele's customer service or schedule a service visit to diagnose and repair the problem.
It's important to note that attempting to repair appliances yourself can be dangerous, and you should always follow safety procedures and consult with a professional if you're unsure of how to proceed.

My zanussi dishwasher zdt12011fa will not switch off and the pump continues to run, obviously trying to remove non existant water! any ideas??

Most dishwashers (especially built in dw) in the bottom has microswitch which is activated if water leaks and runs drain pump to prevent flooding.

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault.

Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle".

For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20
..........and so on

So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code.

Got a zanussi dishwasher zsf6160, lights working but none of the programmes are starting, not taking in any water?

if you can here the drain pump run at the start the fault is with the water valve or blockage in the side tank on the lh side. if you dont here the drain pump it possibly the heater thats down to earth. the electronics can detact it and not start the prog if heater faulty.

Zanussi aquaius DE 6855, starts off ok ,rinses ,but then stops and wont pump the water out and the lights start to flash on and off. Any ideas

Either the exit hose does not reach a high enough point or the waste-pipe is blocked. I had this problem in both situations.
