Most dishwashers (especially built in dw) in the bottom has microswitch which is activated if water leaks and runs drain pump to prevent flooding.

I have a Zanussi ZDT11001AF Dishwasher that won't fill, and would appreciate some tips on fixing it.

I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a
website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my ford explorer. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and works perfect! got it from www.reliable-store.com

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault.

Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle".

For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20
..........and so on

So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code.

Zanussi ZSF2450 has the pump running but the front panel has switched off - booklet says contact service centre anyone know what is wrong?

The flood switch has tripped, this is either due to water in the base of the dishwasher or a faulty flood switch.

Drain pump runs non-stop. Continues when dial is in Stop position. When disconnected for hours, drain pump starts immediately when power restored. In any wash cycle position, drain pump runs and cycle...

sounds like the flood switch has activated.

You will have to drag the dishwasher out from under the counter after turning off the power to it. Tilt to one side so that any water collected under it is expelled. This will free up the flood switch. Wait about 30 minutes and turn the power back on.

There could be a leak of some sorts from the door seal or hoses which is causing the water to collect.

Hope this solves the problem. It is unclear why none of the lights are lighting up to show a fault condition.

Hi, my zanussi zdf221 dishwasher wont work, it makes a noise and constantly empties, any ideas please

The outlet pump is triggered by the anti flood micro switch via the polystyreene float on the base of the washer. If any water for whatever reason (leaky pipe)is on the floor the machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and only works once the water and the cause is rectified
