Pr655 first inappriate needle position then gives message of main current error. Machine comes on without any problem, carriage moves, however needle stalls when entering fabric, help

Pr655 first inappriate needle position then says then days main motor current error. Machine will not comes on is working but will not push needle through fabric without stalling. What can I do?

Have you tried a new needle, perhaps it is blunt. Or perhaps your fabric is too thick for the needle you are using.

Wont pick up lower thread

Have you changed your needle recently ? You may have put it in the wrong way or perhaps you have Brocken a needle this can knock the timing out, go on you tube to find out how to reset timing

Brocken belt

Take it in, the belt is inside along with elelctronic components that are seriously deadly to those inexperienced with electronics. Also machines with inside belts are very easy to knock out of timing.

So spend the $$ and have it replaced and the machine serviced and adjusted while you are there.

Is it slipping out of the needle or breaking? If it is truly slipping.... grasp the threads and hold them while you start the seam. If it is breaking at the eye of the needle change it out and make sure the new one is the proper size for your thread.

take needle back out hit the reset and this should realign back to center some machines have a 3 needle setup this is also a make sure that needle is positioned in middle
