Obtain your owner's manual and follow the connection steps exactly. It's possible you have made the connection at the Internet point.
If this wasn't the problem refer to the trouble shoot section and
follow the steps indicated.

Having the same problem. Can't connect the soundbar via HDMI as the LG 42LS3450 does not support Audio Return Channel over HDMI. Which means I'm only left with optical cable, but the TV doesn't seem to have that either!

try going into the menu and choose factory reset then choose auto tune all channels

Sounds like it could be a video board problem, or a problem with your cables. Swap the cables first, then see if that solves it.

I had the same problem when i bought my LCD tv. Go to wal-mart and but the copnate wires and hook it up that way and it should work

Make sure that the color control level is set to the default or 50% to start with. This should be in the Video menu.

The colour for the tuner and for the encoded base-band video uses a circuit area called the colour demodulator. It is possible that this cirucuit area has failed and needs servicing.
