It doesn't lokk like your TV has an analog out for your Kenwood system. It might have an optical out but unless the Kenwood has optical in then you'll need to upgrade to a Home theater system with HDMI.

Testimonial: "Yes, you're correct I'm sure now.I was trying to use the audio in sockets (!!). There's no optical connect on the old amplifier. I shall give the headphone socket a go, via the amplifier or directly connected to the speakers. A last gasp! Many thanks for your help John"

SOURCE: No sound from external speakers system

Look into your monitor settings and computer settings and see if you can reverse the "input" and "output". If both are set to line in or line out then they pretty much cancell themselves out.

SOURCE: My Sharp Flat Screen Tv Model LC32SB24U has a USB

The USB entry is mostly used for a foto slide show.
Please read the owners manual before plugging in any kind of USB sticks or other cable's in a TV set.
It can damage the set when there is a ground connection between some devices.

Sub-out on Kenwood VR-6060 NOT Working with powered subwoofer

It seems like you've tried various connections and settings to get your JBL135 subwoofer working with your Kenwood receiver, but you're still facing issues. Let's break down the situation and provide some recommendations:
  1. Subwoofer Connection:
    • Using the LFE/Subwoofer Out: This is the preferred method for connecting a subwoofer. Ensure that the cable is firmly connected to both the subwoofer's LFE input and the receiver's Subwoofer Out port. Make sure you have enabled the subwoofer output in the receiver's settings menu.
  2. Subwoofer Settings:
    • Gain: Adjust the gain knob on the subwoofer to achieve the desired bass level. Experiment with different settings to find the right balance.
    • Crossover: Set the crossover frequency on the subwoofer to blend with your tower speakers. Start with a conservative setting, such as 80Hz, and adjust as needed.
  3. Receiver Settings:
    • Speaker Configuration: Set your tower speakers to "Small" in the receiver's settings menu to redirect bass frequencies to the subwoofer. This ensures that the tower speakers are not trying to reproduce deep bass.
    • Bass Management: Enable the appropriate bass management settings in the receiver's menu, which typically includes crossover frequency and speaker size adjustments.
  4. Check Subwoofer Cable and Port:
    • Ensure that the subwoofer cable is in good condition and securely connected to both the subwoofer and receiver.
    • Try using a different cable or testing the subwoofer with another receiver if possible to rule out cable or port issues.
  5. Factory Reset:
    • If you've exhausted all troubleshooting steps, you may consider performing a factory reset on your Kenwood receiver. This will reset all settings to their default values, potentially resolving any configuration issues.
If none of the above suggestions work, it's advisable to consult the user manual for your specific Kenwood receiver model or contact Kenwood customer support for further assistance. They can provide more detailed guidance based on your equipment and setup.

When I connect My Samsung VP-D77i Camcorder to my Laptop I always get a message saying "cant open camera device". My Laptop does not have a fire wire port but only with USB ports. It has Windows 7 Pre

First, try attaching the camcorder via usb cable with the camera OFF, then turning it on. This may trigger Windows to activate the driver scanner and activate the driver. If you've been attaching with camcorder off, try attaching with it on, to see if that activates driver installation.

If that doesn't work, you may have a low-power usb plug; often the usb ports in the back of the computer put out more juice than the handy ones on the front. You may also need a shorter and more robust usb cable; I've found with various cameras and phones that certain usb cables work fine for recharging but won't necessarily provide adequate data transfer.

How do i connect my tv to my hifi to get it throught the speakers?

Well it all depends on what kind of input your hifi has. red, white and yellow are AV inputs, red, blue, green, white and red are component inputs. And of course you know what an HDMI cable port is. Take a look on the back of your hifi receiver and use the input for TV in. Connect it with that particular cable to the audio out on the tv. Once this is done you power on the receiver and select TV mode on the receiver and this shoul give you the surround sound. Any problems let me know

How to connect a usb to a kenwood kdcmp738u

There is a USB connection (female) cable attached to the rear of the unit. You plug your USB into that. Most people route that cable to the glovebox or to a pocket in your console.

Here is a link to the manual for your unit:

The sound wont come out when i use the usb port on

on the newer kenwood model screens you have to buy the ipod cable for audio to function. which is the KCA-IP301v. i have attached a link with some info

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9231413&st=kenwood+ipod+&type=product&id=1218063828720

although the ipods will not give audio by directly plugging it into the usb port, an usb drive will. if you look at the picture in the link, you will notice the audio/video jacks that are separate from the usb.

hope this helps

Can get mini hifi system to work with tv and dvd player. How do I connect them?

To be honest mini hifi`s arent the best to be using as speakers for your tv.
But you connect them using RCA phono cables.
Its a lead with a white and red connector on each end.
Lokk up RCA phono cable and you`ll understand what i mean.
You plug that into your tv then to hifi,
