COMPUTER INSTALL A WIFI

I would uninstall the printer software from your computer.
Power the computer off and back on again to ensure the RAM is clear.
Re install the software for the printer.

Check that your hard drive it working, and/or re install Windows with the CD

Did you install the software first? The Belkin card should have had a CD with drivers. I believe the directions say to install the software first, then install the card.
Also, the min. specs are listed on the Belkin box. Check to be sure your computer meets them.

Maybe it's some drivers forget it
install "driver boster" for install the missing drivers automatically

See if a PCI or network controller card appears in Device manager first (control panel).

If the computer detects the WIFI card it will be installed or appear with an exclamation point.

Check that first, if the card appears with an exclamation mark, click uninstall.

Download the WIFI card driver from Compaq. Install the driver and restart the computer.

Once the computer restarts, then it should automatically detect the hardware and boom should be working.



If this does not solve the problem (assuming the exclamation point was there) then uninstall the WiFi card again and restart the pc.

This time allow the computer to restart and detect the hardware. Do not click anything on the hardware wizard. Instead run the WiFi card driver software again. Restart pc and hope it works.

I'm not sure, please open the computer case and see if there is a free pci slot.

Note that opening the computer might void warranty.

Also, you would do fine with a USB Wifi adapter. cost around the same if not cheaper.

Did you check to see if the wifi was properly plugged in?
Usually this happens after they replace the motherboards or anything else that makes them unplug things.
I would check to make sure it's plugged in and check the wifi card if it don't plug in and make sure it's compatible.

Check out if you are inserting it properly into its slot. That that can be one reason.

another thing you can do try is to try to put in after you have already started the computer and you in windows.

why dont u try to upgrade the firmware?
