How do i fix corrupted excel file?

It's a critical problem for us, after unfortunately data file got corrupt due to virus infection, I faced such type problem.

use open and repair in open window

you should see system hidden files. what is your operation system? go to folder options and under the view tab, under hidden files and folders have 2 choice. select show hidden .... and then uncheck the "hide protected operation system files (Recomanded)" . then apply and ok. go to your target folder you should see that excel temp files. if cant see, go to the operation system drive, users, "user name" like his pass: "C:\Users\dear\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office" and then you should temp files for excel, change that extentions to xls or xls x. if not good say to me
