  1. Insert the SIM card you wish to use.
  2. Turn the handset on.
  3. The phone will show "Enter Subsidy Code".
  4. Enter the unlock code we provided.
  5. If the phone does not ask for the code then try the following:
    • Insert the new SIM card.
    • Turn on your handset.
    • Press and hold the * key until a box appears.
    • Enter *#32#
    • Press OK
    • Enter the unlock code
    • The handset is then successfully unlocked.
    If you have a Motorola V10 and your phone is saying "subsidy lock enabled", please follow the instrucrtions below:
    When the message appears press continue. Then enter **057* and the phone will then ask you to enter the unlock code.

Hello Carol
The first thing to do is contact your Phone Service Provider and check that you have a text service in operation and that you have credits available. Also International texting needs authorization on most plans.

It is a known issue on that phone

  1. From the main screen, press the left soft key to choose Message.
  2. Select New Message then press OK.
  3. Select TXT Message then press OK.

What does (1/1) mean when texting?

Means it's text one of one.
A long text might take - say 5 texts in which case you'll see texts 1/1 - 1/5

What is the difference between adding "FixYa Web Site" as the product, as opposed to "FixYa FixYa Service"?

"FixYa Service" is the correct product to add. The FixYa support team checks this often. It is also always best to select a specific product when possible.

I can text , and recieve texts , but cannot send pic texts or forward pic texts ?? but can recieve them

Make sure you are following all the steps, because picture message looks the same as text but has one extra menu for adding the image itself. Watch the steps at http://www.HandBookLive.com under Electronics->Cellphones category click on Motorola RAZR video. Chapter 14, called "Send pictures to your friends"

try this. The menu names may vary depending on the model or even service provider. look for a simmilarly meaning menu name

For missed calls, made calls or received calls
Go to
menu, call history, erase History, then click on whichever option you want to clear it. you can also clear all.

if you only want to erase just one entry go to call history, go to the category you want(missed, outgoing,incoming) then scroll to your particular one and click options, erase

Assuming you want to erase the recipients of txt messages, go as if you want to send a text(menu, messaging, send message, text message.) then on recent list, scroll and select your desired entry and press options, erase
