Sure you have enough internal memory? If you use an (mini / macro) SD card, you have to install different. On Android 4.x and up it must be possible to install on the SD card, but it could be you need to s something extra. If your tablet is not on 4.1 or higher, please first update the tablet, and se how to install on the external memory.

SOURCE: Trying to free up space on my Proscan tablet and wondered if deleting the cache would give me the space to update games.

It would be better to move apps to the SD card.

They take up more space.

Downloaded game apps will not play on nextbook tablet. As soon as they try to load they immediately go off without allowing me to play the games.

im typing on pc but back to me when i just open games like amung us cant spell it rigth it just says dis game wont work and im mad at nextbook right now so next book give us a reason why games dont work on your tablet

Is there anyway I can get google play store downloaded on tablet to lay game.

That is the thing, to use any, and I mean any Google app on Android you must have Google Play Services install.There are a variety of Google Play Services that you could download and install, but since your device is not an known brand to the Google Play Services, you need to download each version and try it, until you get the right one.
If you go to the link, you'll notice that it says "All Versions". When you read the version number, the last three numbers is the code to the device it is compatible with; example: the version that ends in 438, this version is compatible with Nexus 5.
Here is the link to download Google Play Services. Make sure that Unknown Sources is enable within Settings>Security.
