How do I load the drill bits in the keyles chuck of my Metabo impact drill Model SBE 561?

Keyless chucks work one of two ways
1: Simply turn the chuck by hand to loosen or tighten drill bit, once it grips the drill bit you will not be able to turn it anymore
2: Some keyless chucks operate by pulling the chuck back towards the body of the drill, placing the drill bit in and then releasing the chuck back to its original position

I can not change the drill bit. Do I need another tool?

that depends on whether or not you have a keyed or keyless chuck. if you have a keyless chuck then you do not need another tool you must turn the chuck counter clockwise to loosen the chuck and replace the bit. if you have a keyed chuck then you will see three holes around the chuck of the drill ie the part that holds the bit. just below the holes you will see teeth spaced evenly around the drill. a chuck key allows you to put the end of the key in one of the holes and using the teeth you turn the chuck key thereby loosening the chuck and allowing you to change the bit. if you have a keyed chuck just take it to your local hardware store and they can provide you with the correct key and show you how to remove the bit. if your chuck is keyless the hold the chuck put the drill in reverse and pull the trigger use a glove to protect your hand

Describe how to remove drill bit and install a

Most cordless drills use keyless chucks these days. Shift the drill into reverse and hold the main body of the chuck. Pull the trigger and the bit should come out. Put it into forward and run it to tighten onto a new bit.

Never have used a keyless chuck b4- need to change bit, how do I do this? thanks

hi this should be reletively easy hold the end black bit with the sivler bit holde coming out not the black bit next to the yellow case on drill you hold the black part thats at end of drill by where the bit goes into not the black bit near the trigger hope i explain this ok.
Hold this bit tight then put drill in reverse then press trigger a couple of times it might be tight but shouldnt be that tight it wont undo.
1 put in reverse
2 hold black plastic piece near where drill bit goes into
3 press trigger few times
4 this should undo it allowing you to put a bit in
make sure its in reverse else you will just tighten it up more let me know if you need further assistance ok
