I do not believe you can connect the TV to the wireless router right out of the box. You need to buy extra equipment in this case, the Samsung Digital Media Adapter. Global Download Center

Cannot wireless connect Samsung DVD Blue Ray to Net Flix

set the ip address to be detected automatically in the tv network settings.
What you need to know is the encryption key used on the Wi Fi
If you do not know it it might be on the case of the Wi Fi access point device.
Otherwise you will need to log into the router by typing the router's ip address into an internet browser on the working computer.

Using wireless laptop for internet connection toNetflix on TV while traveling instead of desktop router at home and the SSID is not accepted--error 51032. How can I get a different access SSID? Also, on...

When you use your wireless-enabled computer far outside the range of your wireless-enabled router, you definitely will be trying to connect to a different wireless-enabled router.

That "foreign" router will broadcast a different SSID than your router is broadcasting.
Use "View Available Wireless Networks" to find that SSID, and "connect" to it.

Correct.

My computer has internet connection through the port on the back, but not through the router for wireless networking. All the connections from the modem to the router and further to the computer are...

So, just to confirm:
PC via ethernet has internet connection OK?
The router IP is 192.168.1.1
The PC ethernet IP is 192.168.1.n (n is not 1)
If you unplug the ethernet cable, you no longer have a connection.

If these are correct, did you previously have wireless internet working? If so, just reboot the router (unplug its power).

If not, you'll need to check the wireless settings in the router with those of your wireless network card, making sure you are using matching security settings (WPA-PSK, AES256, matching 'key').

To access the router, browse to http://192.168.1.1 (ensure your ethernet is plugged in). If you haven't changed from the default login details, you'll find them in the router manual.

Samsung bd-p1600 wireless connection to 2wire 1800HG router

Check CNET Samsung forum. There are several posts with the same problem. A couple solutions and basic confirmation that Samsungs newest fireware is bad. I wish their support helpdesk would realize that instead of telling me to contact my router support.
