My Bissell Proheat has stopped suctioning the water solution. It has worked well in the past, but the last time I used it the recovery bladder had just a small amount in it. Could it be stopped up?

I have this machine too. IF the soap dispenser does not have anything (even water) in it the water sprayer will not spray. Sometimes the water valve from the tank has an air bubble in it. Remove the tank and push up the valve. A little water will fall out and then put the tank back into the machine. These fixes assume the water isn't being picked up because it isn't being sprayed. You do want to determine if the machine is providing suction. Turn the selector to the hand tool and with the handle all the way up (since that makes the conduit for the vaccuum from the top over the tank to the handle) and see if there is suction from the hand tool. If there is no suction from the hand tool and the handle is pushed all the way forward then the machine needs to be repaired. I would buy another from ebay or craigslist since the repair will be very costly. I have owned several and this has been my experience (I stll own two and a spot lifter too.)

My Bissell Proheat 2x, is putting down the solution fine but it barely pulled up 1/4 of water and I went through 2 bladders. We check the sucking action under the brissells and it was very weak.

Make sure you switch suction from hose to front nozzle
Check seal between front suckin nozzle and top lid is ok
Check plastic screen (usually red coloured)located inside top lid of the container for water

I have a billell Pro Heat 2X without a manual. How do I fill it and what ratio water to cleaner?

The cleaner goes into the small bottom at the very rear of the machine. It is uses full strenght (don't add any water to it). You add clean water into the bottom clear plastic section on the front of the machine. The clean water bladder is soft plastic and it is filled from the top. When you start using the machine, the dirty water will get suctioned into the section surrounding this bladder. The machine will stop working when either the bladder is empty or the dirty water section is full. Remove the entire plastic section to dump out the dirty water.

I have the bissell x2 12 amp carpet shampooer

The water should be picked up fairly rapidly into the area surrounding the clean water bladder. Try checking the lint filter to fix your suction problem. It is located in the top clear plastic section (the one with the dial to switch from tool to floor use). One the under side of it there is a small (1 inch square) red filter with a little door on it. Flip open the door and it is probably clogged with hair, carpet fibre. etc.. Clean it out and you should have suction.
