My Bissell Proheat has stopped suctioning the water solution. It has worked well in the past, but the last time I used it the recovery bladder had just a small amount in it. Could it be stopped up?

I have this machine too. IF the soap dispenser does not have anything (even water) in it the water sprayer will not spray. Sometimes the water valve from the tank has an air bubble in it. Remove the tank and push up the valve. A little water will fall out and then put the tank back into the machine. These fixes assume the water isn't being picked up because it isn't being sprayed. You do want to determine if the machine is providing suction. Turn the selector to the hand tool and with the handle all the way up (since that makes the conduit for the vaccuum from the top over the tank to the handle) and see if there is suction from the hand tool. If there is no suction from the hand tool and the handle is pushed all the way forward then the machine needs to be repaired. I would buy another from ebay or craigslist since the repair will be very costly. I have owned several and this has been my experience (I stll own two and a spot lifter too.) I have this machine too.
