I have a LG chana t.v. its main ic is LA76810A and vertical out put ic is LA78040.. flyback no 1010.. when I turned on my tv the white vertical line comes on my tv screen .. I request to all crt tv experts that plz plz help me that what are main reasons of vertical center line.. I have Installed new vertical ic LA 78040 but could not succeed.. and than changed main ic LA76810A but problem is same.. I have checked all components near LA78040 and all 7 pin connection found ok and found there is no leaky capacitor and no diode short.. aftre that checked vertical output line from main ic pin 23 found correct ... and checked all transistors on pcb but found them ok.. and then checked all resistors and zenor diodes find them ok.. what is main reason of vertical white line? if any t.v expert tell me that what should I do I will be very thankful to him..
Your Vertical IC is Good,.check the resistance of your deflection yoke.

But the problem is "Horizontal Output Line" Try that.

Remember this:...Horizontal white line means Vertical is bad.
Vertical white line means Horizontal is bad.
So you need to check all Horizontal circuits. Agree?
Sorry, I cannot find the schematic. But look for the Horizontal and vertical inputs to the flyback. You can trace them back to the Horizontal output IC. Good luck.
Be careful near the high voltage.
