Today's TVS are mostly IN 4K, but sometimes the picture is blurry and of poor quality. You want to set the definition of your TV to get a better picture. Most TVS don't need to be set up because it's not the problem of TV, it's the source.

Whether it is TV programs or movies and TV series on the network, the first thing to see the source of the resolution, the closer to 4K, the clearer, the better the effect. Conversely, the effect is poor and fuzzy. Because we basically need not the effect in the picture in the picture, full screen plays the effect not ideal again, so now TV of big size liquid crystal has watch a distance. It looks good at a distance. If it's not clear, the source is too bad and the resolution is too low to change.

BTW, you can also watch 4K video ob PC and then playback with free 4K video player. Here is the recommendation.

It depends on your source video resolution. If you're willing to play in 4K, you can upscale your 1080p or 720p video to 4K resolution in advance. Here is the video tutorial:
After conversion, it will be played in 4K on your TV. Of course, it's all based on that your TV supports 4K.

What is the difference between UHD and 4K tv

Ultra HD and 4K difference...Technically, "Ultra High Definition" is actually a derivation of the 4K digital cinema standard. However while your local multiplex shows images in native 4096 x 2160 4K resolution, the new Ultra HD consumer format has a slightly lower resolution of 3840 X 2160...Hope this helps

How do I change the resolution on my Phillips 4k tv from 720 to a higher resolution tools

The TV will select the correct/appropriate resolution based on the source. To achieve the highest resolution you will have to connect a unit (video source) capable of providing 4K using HDMI 2.0 compliant cables. To achieve any HD resolution, the video source will have to be connected to a HDMI port. The ATSC terrestrial digital broadcast signal (over the air TV) is generally 720p, but many stations transmit in 1080i/1080p.

Help I have just installed this software called corel video studios express 2010 but i cant open it as it displays a window saying the supported minimum screen resolution is 1024x768 help

The screen you are using is set to a resolution below what is needed. My guess is you are using a TV or widescreen monitor you have set to 1280 x 720 which is not large enough. Change the screen resolution to some higher than what is recommended like 1366 x 768 or higher.

Cant get the tv to go from 720 to 1080

Changing the resolution of 720 to 1080 is dependent of the input television. Make sure the HDMI cable connection or a PC cable connected properly.
If you uses a PC input, you should set the resolution with 720 to 1024 first. then set to higher resolution. If there is a problem when doing settings dark picture or not support, it means that the TV does not support the resolution.
Perform way above the HDMI connection too.
Hope this helped solve your problem.
