Mitsubishi WD62725 TV doesn't come on

I have replaced the power board, FMT board and had the DM board repaired. This corrected the blinking green light but now sits at the green solid light with no errors indicated.... but also no picture. Looking for what to check next or how to isolate the problem further?

I have checked the circuit boards and connections again. How and where would I check the voltages? Are there specific test points?

As a test, I connected a DVI montitor to the output from the FMT board but got no signal so assume that it's still something in the chassis that is not working. Although not sure that i would see a standard DVI output from the FMT baord ....but just trying to isoalte where the problem could be.Anything that is more detailed as far as troubleshooting the circuit boards available?

Check and recheck that all connections are secure. Look on the circuit boards to see if anything looks wet. That would be fluid leaking from one of the tubes. One of the parts you put in may have issues. Check your voltages.

There is a common failure of a regulator IC on the main board (I believe it is 9VDC). Everything will power up, but you will have a blue screen with no image. When you turn it on, you should also hear a static sound indicating the high voltage and horizontal output circuit are working. If the screen is blank/black then you may have a connector loose that goes to the picture tubes. Last but not least, somewhere along the way, a repair was done without actually knowing whether or not it was a "good" fix.

I have a mitsubishi wd62725 green flashing led non stop replaced all the bad caps, 2 big and 4 smaller on power 4 1000u on fmt and 4 1000u on the dm board still getting the non stop led if i boot up with...

You can press the "DEVICE" and "MENU" keys on the front of the TV (not the remote) and the TV should flash an error code. Here is a chart.

Error Code Probable Cause
12 No error detected
22 Recovery from momentary Reset
32 Lamp Cover open
33 Air Filter Cover open
34 Lamp abnormality
35 Chassis Fan failure
36 Exhaust (Back Cover) or Lamp Ballast Fan failure
37 Engine (DMD or Lamp) Fan failure
38 Excess Lamp Temperature
39 Excess DMD Temperature
41 Short Detected
44 DVI Cable (between Chassis and Engine) disconnected

If the code is lets say 36 the LED will flash 3 times then pause then 6 flashes.

Green blinking light

Have you tried the reset button on the front of the tv, on the far left I believe? That probably won't solve your issue since this has been an infamous problem for Mitsubishi.

If the reset button doesn't work the most probable fix are the (12) 1000uF capacitors (4 on each board) on the Power Supply, FMT board and the DM board. There are several other replies from reputable repair people on this site for this problem on the wd-xx525 series.

You probably just need to replace the DM capacitors. You can get the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the capacitors and the Cd with instructions

Where is the DM Module on Model WD62725

looking at the metal chassis block the DM power board is the second board in from the right side. The FMT is first followed by the DM next then the signal is third. Across the front is the Power pwb, and the Terminal 1 and 2 pwbs are in the small section behind the Inputs.

Mitsubishi 62825 flashing green light on timer set wont come on,try reset same problem ?

Your main boards are bad. The FMT, DM, & Power Supply. They are no longer available, You have to have the chasis rebuilt. Mitsubishi is rebuilding these chasis. You have to pull it without any cut wires & ship to Georgia.

Blue Flickering Screen - Which Repair Kit?

yes they provide a free service manual with their kits. the symptom of the blue screen could either be the signal or the FMT as they can both cause those symptoms, My professional guess would be the signal board as the FMT will cause distortion lines across the screen with no picture.
