if the Eq has enough jacks to run every thing, that would go In to Eq an out to receiver, you were told correctly, for example cdplayer out - to Eq In - Eq- out to Receiver in

I have pioneer sx 20 tuner/amp and behringer ultragragh pro fbq 1302 graphic equaliser linked together with mono cables via tape i/o rca ports lights on graphic eq lights in sync with sound on sliders but...

It is a bit fuzzy for me, how everything is connected, but just plugging in cables where they fit won't always work. Special not with tulip plugs and cables.
Not sure you Amp has speaker switches, but you could start there. NEVER switch on an amplifier, while the volume button is open. Not even when it is half way. Please every time you want to change something, first lower the volume.
First try to get any sound from the amplifier in the speakers. When you have something like noise in the speakers, then you can test an input on the amp. You could put in a pice of wire in and choose the correct input button and then turn up the volume.
If it starts humming, you are on the correct input. On that input you plug in a device giving enough power (voltage must be within the range for that input) and check if it works.
When you want to know anything about voltages going in an amplifier I add a wiki page, and for all other inputs you can find the levels on Wiki too.

According to manual there is pre/amp on Pioneer sx 20 what connections do I use to connect graphic equaliser

Yes, the SX20 includes a preamp including a phono stage. (nice!) There is already equalization in the SX20 available via the bass/treble controls. To hoop up an external graphic equalizer, you should be able to connect it to the 'Recorder' IN/OUT and then select the tape monitor input to hear the equalized signal.

Hooking up EQ to RECIEVER for a TECHNICS MODEL SH-8017

You'll need 4 connections total. On my integrated amp, I connected the four connections to all Line In and Line Out ports. And the other ends into the tape 2/EXTRA ports respectively.

I have a Amp,CD player,Tuner, and DVD player. no a tape deck.how can i conect all, with out a tape deck through eqeualizer.

You can connect the EQ on the tape in/output of your amplifier. Tape out (or monitor out) to the input of the EQ and tape in to the output of the EQ.
Listen to the tuner and than switch to the tape input, the tuner input will be still active. But in the tape "mode" your EQ will be active too.

Connection of Amp to Equaliser

Thanks guys, but i solved my problem, i experimented and decided that i would run my DVD player (Aux Out) as a CD player through the Equaliser in [Rec] and from equaliser out [Play] i went into Tape Play on Amp, then i connected my Turntable CD Radio System to the Tape 1 Rec on Equaliser and then from Tape 1 Play on Equaliser went into the Tape 2 on AMP then i could use Aux in on Amp to connect my Laptop via my laptops headphone socket my laptop has an equaliser so i didn't need to connect to pioneer EQ, i also connected a small 5.1 to the DVD's 5.1 and connected 4 *45w Speakers to the AMP. and i can say it was FANTASTIC i couldn't get to 5 on my volume it was un @$#%believable.
