You need to (or have someone) remove the line appearance of 242 on your phone. Actually your phone should also have a 3-digit number, likely 221, and the system knows that dialling "0" goes to that set. Feature *0 lets you check what all the keys are. If you don't have 3-digit extension, then 243 may actually be yours.
To use both the transfer and the intercom it,s necessary to know the extension numbers of the phones your trying to call or transfer to. To find out what the extension number is on those extensions either press feature 00 (if the extension has a display) the extension number will be displayed on the screen, if the set doesn't have a display then you can use the intercom to call a extension that does have a display. To use the intercom press one of the intercom keys below the first two line keys and enter in the extension number of the persons phone you wish to call. To transfer a call, while talking to the caller press the Transfr key(above the hold key) then the extension number of the of the persons phone you wish to call then hang up.
The default password on partner voicemails is 1234. The reason for the call returning to the extension that transferred the call to the new extension is probably because the cover vmsisn't set up for the new extension.
To check the vms cover for that extension, at either extension 10 or 11 press feature 00 and press the left hand intercom button twice. The display will say system programming.
Enter #310, the display will sayAutomatic VMS Cover Extension:
enter in the extension number of the new extension.
The screen will say either "1 assigned" or "2 not assigned"
enter in 1 (assigned)
press feature 00 when finished.
I saw a universal one one www.sew4less.com but it was $85. (ouch) I don't know if you can find one cheaper but it is sure a good idea to look around. Just make sure that it is a universal fit so that you won't be stuck with one that won't work. I did not see any White brand on any of my sources. Good luck
it depends on the setup of the system the codes can be changes by the admins.
Mine is set to #87
You need to dial this code then your extension number so if your extension is 1234 you would dial #871234 this in theory can be done from any ext, it does not have to be yours, there is a posibility that it will not work as you can change permissions so tht some extensions cant do this. If ythis is the case ask your admin to change the "class of service"
