I have a dr9080c scanner and it does not pick up red or yellow colors, have already adjusted setting, HELP!

Which settings have you tried? Did you attempt to enhance the Red settings? What program are you using?

Each machine has settings built in for color drop out and color enhancement, If you are using the free Capture Perfect software, there is a setting in the where you make the enhancement or drop out changes.

Where is the QUMA tool for the dr 9080 scanner

Quma service tool is on the original driver CD that came w/ the scanner. password is the name.

HOW TO GET INTO THE QUMA MENU

When double clicking on the Quma tool, type in "quma" as the password.

When scanning in color background of image comes up pink or purple although original page's background is white how do I resolve this issue?

Under QUMA tools software run a 'REGISTRATION' with clean white sheets.

I have a Canon Scanner DR7580 and the wheels are hesitating upon feeding of the document.

The rollers slip if a) the document is slippery or dirty, b) if they are unclean after usage or c) if there is hardware problem.
Try scanning a set of clean sheets, clean the rollers with a damp cloth thoroughly (no solvents pls). Get QUMA tool and check if the rollers are working independently.

Problem with Canon DR9080C scanner and Capture Perfect 3.0 softwere

Do you have enough disk space? Check if your C; drive has enough space. Normally C: is used as 'scratch area'. Try scanning intoa different location.

Red 1 and 3 are good! 1 is the home position sensor for the document lift tray and 3 means the top cover is shut.
