SOURCE: Washing machine not filling with water not washing but will empty and will spin

like the anchor idea?, no sorry, this does sound like the water is not getting to the machine, so, when you turn the machine on does it make a slight buzzing noise, if so the fault is no water in the pipes to the machine (from the house), if no buzzing check the solenoids with a multimeter for open circuit (removing the 2 wires first) oh and the plug obviously / replace solenoid if needed, i am sure this will cure your problem, if so rate me please, thank you

SOURCE: Whirlpool GHW9100LW2/CSR1903623 flashes a FH code

The "FH" error can have several causes, so this can sometimes be a tricky problem to diagnose. Some of these error codes can also be erroneous. The first step to troubleshooting your problem should be to unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main computer (or brain) of the washer. Sometimes this is all it takes to correct minor glitches. If your error code reappears following a reset, then you know you have a genuine problem. If the "FH" error persists, the following link explains what to do:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615354-fh_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Although, you may be correct in your assumption of a possible water inlet valve problem, I would recommend you read through the link provided and try to eliminate the easy things first. Check your installation for a possible siphoning issue, followed by a check of the drain pump. If those items check good, check the sediment screens in the water inlet valve. If you live in an area that has hard water, or if you use well water, the sediment screens can become clogged with deposits and debris. If you suspect a clogged inlet valve you can also remove it and thoroughly clean it in a 50/50 solution of water and distilled vinegar. Allow the inlet valve to soak in the solution for about half an hour and flush real well with clean water. Avoid submerging the solenoids and electrical connections, or getting them wet.

If you have questions along the way, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

SOURCE: I have a Zanussi ZWF12070W1 washing machine. It's

Hello,

Hope I can help. When you press the start button is there a buzzing coming from down by the filter if so Check that there is not something stuck in the filter. You will have to be careful depending on how much water is left in the drum so put some towels down and undo filter slowly or get the machine near a door then release filter out onto a door step.when drained shine a torch up inside filter and see if the little plastic blade on pump can turn but do not try and force it,if you do find anything in there then try it again and check the pockets. If there is still a fault you will have to call out your Engineer.

Good Luck

Hello I got zanussi jetsystem 1200. The washing machine don't want start and making clicking noise. The door won't close properly . Can you tell me what's the problem or what I have to do...

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Check this link to replace the inlet valve:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

has someone interfered with the inlet tap. The buzzing is normally a sign that the appliance is trying to take water but tap is off.

Kenmore front load washer, model 417

Washer dryers often have cold water valves with 3 separate solenoids. One for the main wash and rinses (which is clearly ok) and one for the condition rinse (to take the fabric conditioner down) which is probably ok too, and the 3rd one is for the dryer. It's possible this 3rd solenoid has failed.

Washer dryers need on a steady trickle of cold water running into the condenser chamber to convert the steam into water, which then gets pumped down the drain.

e10 means that there is a problem with the water supply.
a condenser dryer needs cold water to operate properly. the e10 code will appear if:
1. the water is turned off
2.the water pressure is too low.
3.the solenoid valve is open circuit
4.there is a problem with the pressure switch (least likely)

Cold valve is at the end of blue inlet pipe remove lid and you will see it.

f E10 is only appearing when trying to dry, the problem almost certainly is the condenser valve solenoid open circuit. The green solenoid on the inlet valve. Should read about 4000 ohms.

My money would be on the solenoid coil being open circuit. The coil can be canabalised from most valves although you may have to modify the connections. For simpler repairs - contact Zanussi and get the entire triple inlet water valve to swap out.

E10 code on a zanussi jet system washer

Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.

HEY PLEASE HELP ME

It might well be the water valves or........ the filter in the hose just at the machine. Check that one first and than check the connections on the inlet valve. If there is power on it it will be a broken valve.
