Text messages hello. If I`ll take out the battery and SIM card will the text messages be erased from my nokia7373, if they are not saved on a sim card? how can i save my texts on my phone?? it allows me to save them in SAVED TEXTS folder but i`m not sure if that`s the folder on my memory card or no

Once you insert a sim card inside the phone. Be patient with it, allow it read the sim card, and settle its software. If you try to send a message when you just insert the sim into a phone, the message you will be getting is 'sim card not ready'.

Please insert the sim back into your phone and wait for about 3 minutes before trying to send a text. That way the sim card would have been ready to perform your operation for you.

no, but if you go to your settings, there should be an option to save them to the sim card, or if you click on a message, you should be able to delete it or save it to the phone or save it to the sim card

The LG Shine will only save messages to the SIM card after the internal phone memory is full (150 messages). This all happens automatically, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to force the phone to choose. Also, note that the SIM card will only store 30 messages. You can select the options menu

go and change to save all texts to phone then delet all texts again

When you take your battery out of your phone it automatically erases call log/sms etc unless you have saved them in a save folder.

messages->sim-. add

you have to save all the text messages from motrolla to your sim to see them

you can do 2 things... first transfer the messages via blueetooth or infrared. or put the sim card back to 6060 and save msg one by one which you need in your other phone on your sim card then put the sim back to your 2760 here your messages are.. enjoy..

Ok well first of all, try turning off the phone and removing the battery for two or three minutes, then if it has a SIM card remove that too and wait another two or three minutes. Then replace the battery and if it has a SIM card leave it out and turn it on, wait about two minutes if it has a SIM card and turn it off again, remove the battery again for about two minutes and install the SIM card and battery, then turn it on and try it out. If the phone does not have have a SIM card just leave the battery out for two or three minutes and restart the phone. If that fails to improve the operation, try resetting the phone in the settings/security menu and you may need a security code, usually set to 000000 or 183729 if your on Telus in Canada, other networks may have other defaults, check your owners manual or call 611/*611 for information if you don't know what it is. The only other thing I can suggest is try erasing all the messages in the phone first to see if that helps, that might make a difference. PS: If it is a GSM phone with a SIM card, try a different SIM card that is from a working phone, text messages are stored on SIM cards in GSM phones, that might be the problem. Hope that helps!

Should be in saved messages. If your sim card is like mine then the message should be saved on the actual sim card. Try the sim in another phone and look in saved messages.
