Rangemaster Classic 110-my extractor fan works intermittently .sometimes it won't work but if I put it om high, it starts to work.sometimes it slows down for sometime and would pick up speed again.any

I suspected grease etc clogging it . Took it apart today and cleaned. Motor was not that dirty but am beginning to suspect the motor. Oven was already in the house when we bought it and have used for the past 8years. After putting it together ,the problem persist. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Also i notice when I took it apart today that, the cable run all the way from the lighting unit and was soldered onto the fan motor. Does it mean a new motor comes with all that cable already soldered.? Many thanks

SOURCE: Neff extractor fan not working

Hi rags116,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: You have a neff extractor fan which hasstopped working. The light and fan have both stopped working. Do I know where you can find the fuse as you suspect that this may be the problem. If I don't think it is the fuse would I be able to suggest anything else.
The type is D-AY25-8 If there is another number that is more helpful please let you know. thanks Again your Neff Series 2 extractor has stopped working and you want to save yourself buying a new one!! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Since both light and fan require low voltage it sounds like a bad transformer. It will be mounted next to the motor. Make sure you turn off the power first.

SOURCE: Neff extractor fan not working

I have a similar problem with a Whirlpool oven hood. In my case the kitchen fiitters used a (UK) standard 3-pin plug to power the hood. The plug is fitted into a socket that is placed on top of the cupboards that house the hood.
I have replaced the 3 amp fuse in the plug and now the fan is working.
HOwever, the light isn't working and so I'm assuming that the bulb has blown and that this has caused the fuse to blow as well.
Now my problem is accessing the bulb so that I can replace it.

SOURCE: attic roof vent fan- brand unknown. need motor and blade

Any Blade will be ok if it will fit shaft and they all should be cosistant and of course the higher the amp the better quality.I like the Pro 3 model at Home depot but I believe the Pro 1 gable is the 12 inch blade, pro 3 is 17 inch houseing and maybe 12 inch also.

Rangemaster 55 leisure. My timer has stopped working

Hi Stella,

i am sorry for you, but you can forget repairing the timer.
You can replace it of course.
You do not need the timer to operate the oven.
For that you need to bypass the timer. The clock will stay working normally.
Although the 55 is smaller then the 110, the working of the clock should be the same.
Net link will give you more information and I hope you will fin the solution there.
Kind regards and a good weekend, Dik

Fan not coming on in fan oven Second (smaller)

fan motors seized or slow. Turn ovens on with the doors open and switch them on individually, you should see the fans turn behind rear panels, if not see if elements redden up as test if not they may be faulty also.

Fan assisted oven not working

If the fan is still working then it is the element that has gone. This is easily replaced as you only need to remove the back panel and swap the the element.
