Wiring harness cavity size does not match previously stored value
The "Cavity Size Select" jumpers in the wiring harness indicate a cavity size different from that which the control was previously configured for. Check the jumpers in the harness to make sure they agree with the actual oven size.
Well, 6800W/240V = 28.33 amps, call it 30. Minimum AWG wire size 10ga., if you're running it over about 20' go up to a 8ga. to be sure your oven is fed adequately.
there are a number of ways...first, if you have enough room, you can try to drill and rethread the next screw size....if you dont have the room, then there is a kit called a helithread...it consists of different drill sizes and little inserts that allow you to repair the threads that have stripped out...these kits are available at auto parts stores....if you wish to drill and re-tap the threads, then your local hardware store should be able to help you with the drill and tap sizes for the next screw size
Hello, the error codes E3 and F1 means Wiring harness cavity size does not match previous stored valued SOLUTION:The "Cavity Size Select"jumpers in the wiring harness indicate a cavity size different from that which the control was previously configured for. In most cases the pressure regulator has to be changed or adjusted. The orfices on each burner, oven, broiler and surface burner may need to be changed also. Sometimes they can be adjusted. Sometimes the threads on the pipe are different also. This is to prevent accidental connection to the wrong fuel. The big difference is the gas pressure. LP is usually around 10 - 12 lbs and natural gas is usually around 3 lbs. Properly adjusted you will like natural gas much better than LP as it is slightly hotter. The information will be in the instruction book and also on the Jenn air web site. Whirlpool owns both Maytag and Jenn aire so check all sites. The conversion kit is usually less than $50.
