I have had a part fall off of my minn kota bow mount riptide 55pd thrust. It is the black plastic piece on the left hand side that the motor housing rests on when it is in the folded position. Three screws have also fallen out. I need this part replaced. where can I order one online in australia and how much will it cost?

is the prop shaft bent you may have busted a magnet in the motor dragging now

check make sure its not wired backwards to batteries

There is more than the shaft, there is the housing and then everything needs to fit and have correct clearances.....I suggest sell the old one and get a 52 inch new one...

max is 56amps on 24v system

1. possibly a broken connection to the motor where the propeller is located. 2. Also could be a bad motor. 3. Look for a fuse location for a possible blown fuse to the motor. 4. motor brushes could be the problem.

To start with, here's a schematic:

Sounds like key# 87 broke....seen it before.
To replace it, remove top cover, then remove the handle portion by removing the 5 screws underneath. There are a few peices in there, so keep close watch. Also be careful of the fine ribbon wire attaching the handle to the control board...it's pretty fragile.

I have minnkota riptide i had to take the handle off and a little spring & white plastic piece poped out of the handle i just wanted to see where it goes
