I have a Toshiba laptop model# C655-S5501 with a bad keyboard (Gator Aid!). I can't find an exact model # match through Amazon. Will the "Eathtek NEW Keyboard For TOSHIBA SATELLITE C655-S5128 C655-S5047 C655-S5049 C655-S5211 C655-S5212 C655-S5221 C655-S5082 C655-S5090 C655-S5061 C655-S5113 C655-S5132 C655-S5142 US Black" model function correctly? If not, any ideas? Thanks in advance, Bill Smith
Check eBay. I've been working on computers for years and order ALL of my replacement keyboards through eBay. I just found 9 of them after entering your model number; about $16 with free shipping. Sarawill82 hit the nail on the head for the replacement; you tube is your friend if you're doing it yourself. If it doesn't have your exact laptop, look at other videos. It will give you an idea what you need to look for to replace the keyboard.
It beats paying a computer store a $45+ bench fee, and it will only take you about 15 minutes as a novice.
Don't try to clean it; you could cause more extensive damage than just replacing the keyboard.

You can get replacement keys from this company that i used a few months back when i lost two of my keys. They sell genuine keys with their retainer plastic pieces for just $5.
Browse through your brand name, model number and order your required key. It’s
that simple. The best part is, you can repair your broken keys yourself by watching the
video tutorials on the website.

The best way is to use compressed air to blow the stuff from between the keys then use a paper towel or lint free cloth and spray a little Windex on it and wipe the keys down while to computer is turned off. If you have spilled liquid in the keyboard there is no easy way to clean that up.
