My Whirpool Duet front loader will begin a wash cycle, but stops when cycle switches to rinse with water in the drum. Door remains locked & light by the 'wash' flashes 9 times consecutively, then later flashes 1 time. Beeps three times until I stop the cycle & turn the machine off.

When the machine is stopped can you empty the residue water that remains by the programme selector? if not check for blockage in the pump(coin), the hose internal blockage ,or at the outlet under sink. I hope this help

Testimonial: "There's not a selection that allows me to drain the water. I attempt to select the 'Rinse, Drain & Spin' cycle, but same thing happens, when it switches to rinse, it stops. If I can carefully move the button forward just a little in that cycle, it bypasses the rinse cycle, goes straight to spin and completes the cyle."

Whirlpool front loader duet hd washer gets stuck in the wash cycle with the error code of F02. What is F02 mean?

Whirlpool Duet front-load washer F02 usually means it is taking over 8 minutes for the washer to sense that the rinse or wash water has drained, which either means that the drain/filter is clogged or the pressure switch/tube is clogged (causing both the washer to over-fill with water and not sensing that water has drained).

To clear out the drain/filter, tilt the washer backwards a little for easier to the kick-plate and support the front bottom with a wood block or similar, remove the front kick-plate's (3) retaining screws and swing the kick-plate up out of the way. The filter drain is behind the white knob in the center, be prepared with something to catch any remaining water and lots of towels to soak up any spills, and turn the knob counter-clockwise to remove the filter.

Due to power outage can't get door open on Whirlpool Duet front loader washer. With wet towels inside, need to manually open door to get them out. Is there an easy solution?

Hello,

On that type of washer the door lock is wired in series with the water level switch and if water remains in tub the door lock will not power up and unlock..what you can try is (if havent already done so) is select the drain/spin only cycle and when the water has drained the door should unlock

Duet whirpool washing machine stop and DLF sign appear

Hi,
Initially unplug the washing machine. While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for five seconds.
Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the DL code is cleared.

If you still face the problem then follow the procedure:

Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.

Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.

Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.

Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle.

After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause].
This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum.

Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer.

Hope this helps.

Whirlpool Duet 9100 will not drain during regular wash cycle. Cleaned drain filter & ran diagnostic and then rinse & drain. Water drained from washer & clothes were damp and I thought the...

I would assume that you are using HE detergent if not the pump could go into a suds lock. You may have a bad drain pump. The other options could be possibly a bad central control unit. (however these are very expensive) or possibly a door lock issue but usually you will get a door lock error.

Whirpool Duet - Soap not getting into wash cycle

O.K. Is the water draining out properly? If the filter is blocked then your washing will be churning in dirty water as the machine will drain for a maximum time then rinse etc. in the used water.
