yes for that follow the follow the following steps.
1) go to the page http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-cookie-kp500-pc-suite-download.html.
2)download the lg kp500 pc suite.
3)install it.
4)connect your phone to pc via pc suite.
5)transfer files easily between pc and phone.
note: you need not install any other usb driver to connect your phone. you need to wait a few seconds to connect your phone via pc suite. if on the first time it is not connected. restart yor phone and try connecting it again. hope the problem will be solved.
Kp500's or Cookies can only be unlocked via a code by either sending your IMEI no. to a web site that generates unlock codes via their hardware or...
If you have a computer running XP you can search for KP500 unlocking and its a case of getting into the phones file system and remove a file then read the file with another piece of software then enter the code.
I made it sound easy but it can be tricky getting the drivers. Google is your friend if you want to go down that route.
BTW. Every KP500 has a different code so don't try one found on the net. It more than likely won't work on your handset.
It's been a while but in DOs you need two drivers to acess a CD drive. One is a a generic driver loaded by your autoexec called MSCDEX.EXE. That should look something like
LOADHIGH=X:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD001
The next one you will need is the specific driver for the drive. For an LG I think it is gscdrom.sys So for this you need an entry in your config.sys that looks like the following.
