ipod touch has a light piece of plastic on bottom where it connects to the dock youtube has a video on how to remove it softly with a razor blade and once it is removed it will work properly although to be played through stereo i must have my ipod touch 4th gen on airplane mode

Can't connect to you tube on the iPad why

All the videos which are available on youtube can be played using a Adobe flash player which is installed on the browser as a add-on. Therefore it is necessary that the flash player is not installed on the browser then you will not be able to view videos on youtube. None of the apple products including Iphone, Ipod and Ipad support flash player and hence youtube cannot be accessed using Ipad. Apple has not provided any flash support in the Ipad and hence you will not be able to access youtube on the Ipad. you can go to settings---->general---->restrictions. enable the restrictions and enter a passcode. turn off the services you dont want him to use, like safari and youtube.

Can't get internet on mi ipod touch!

To watch videos online from Youtube from you iPod Touch, you must be connected to an active internet connection via wi-fi.
To connect to a wi-fi access hotspot, Go to Settings>Wi-Fi. Now, look under Choose a Network':
-If there is a connection showing, then touch the network name to connect to it. After, retry Youtube and your problem should be solved.
-If there aren't any connections showing, then you do not have a acess point nearby.
-If you do not have a acess point nearby, you can always setup one at your very own home with a router.

What iPod touch do you own ? generation. What OS is installed? Did you install a youtube app? did the iPod ever connect to youtube before? did you switch on WiFi or is it in airplane mode?
Just a few questions I have to ask. Please tell us more details.

Gall, give me a few moments and I will check my iPod 4 gen to see I can connect to youtube. It is charging now. (since I have an iPhone I don't use the iPod that much)

My iPod tough 4th gen is on iOS 6.1.6 It is the latest for this generation now. In the App Store I could find the youtube app and because I have it on other devices I got it for free. perhaps it is always free. I installed and updated it. I could start it and had to login with my Google account. It started of where I stopped on my computer looking. So it should work on the iPod 4 ben with iOS 6 I would advice you to upgrade to 6.1.6 and then install, or reinstall the youtube app. If you have a Youtube app on your iPod, remove it and install it again. I hope toy have a (free) gmail account. If not, just make one on the Gmail site. After that it should work.
