The power transformer is toast.

The only way you can connect external speakers to this model is to connect to the TV via the headphone jack this way no matter what you are watching DVD, TV, VCR the audio will pass through. Most TV's now do not have speaker outputs as it saves a little money on production. Good Luck : )

Your "line in" from speakers should be plugged into the green (output) port on the back of your tower or the headphone jack on laptop. You will need to hook the 9 pin connector from the right speaker to the subwoofer. The yellow line from left speaker plugs into port labled "subwoofer" on subwoofer. Plug your power cord from speaker system into an outlet. Turn them on, adjust volume. There is no software for this product.

Hi,
first of all you should try with a different audio source to make sure that the problem resides in your speakers. Then you could try to move the left speaker's cable to see if that is causing the problem and fix it if you have some good soldering skills, otherwise you can just send them back in assistance since they have a 1 year long warranty.

Mine did the same thing then I found the solution by accident. After reading a post about moving the sub to different positions and making sure connections were tight to the sub , I loosened the right speaker connection screws to the sub and noticed the humming stopped completely . I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me.

check the speaker.. could be burned or open connection

try and contact logitech, but they aregoing to charge you and it may cost more than a new mouse, because they dont really want anyone to have that documation about there new product.
