My Bosch Classixx 6 Express 1200 washing machine suddenly developed three faults at the same time, with no fault codes. The water pump, fill and spin cycles all stopped at the same time. I found that the one of the pump wires had come loose from the connector plug. This will not only stop the drum from emptying but will prevent the machine from filling and also stops the spin cycle. These are all interconnected and controlled by the water pump, which has to be working and connected. Hope this helps. My 11 year old machine is now working perfectly.

The light can come for a few reasons. Not emptying, not filling, over filling or water leaking into base. Probably jug impellor part number (424099) from espares, buyspares or bosch direct. No fix unfortunately, this problem manifests as unit starts to fill and motor does not switch on. Eventually the unit overfills and the pump and fill start to alternate and check water light comes on. If this is the fault then this part is the solution it runs in line with the inlet valve and side fill chamber, take the left side panel off (looking from the front) it is tucked away behind the hoses bottom left. Check water light can also come on if the unit is not pumping, if this is the case, repost and I will try and talk you through clearing this fault.

the problem you are getting is a f01 fault, this is water in the base part of the antiflood devise.to check this if you tip the appliance backwards and water comes from the back at the bottom this is the problem,if you do this till it stops and then leave for approx 24hrs to dry out any water that may have gone on to motor, then check by switching on to start a program,if appears to work ok but then goes back to the same fault(draining all the time and light flashing)you will have to remove base and check for leaks.
If it IS the pump, it’s often because some relatively minor item (piece of cocktail stick/bit of nutshell/etc) has found its way past the filters and is blocking the blades of the pump. It is relatively simple to remove the inlet hose to the pump and clear the blockage (a pair of grips to pinch and remove the retaining clip, then the hose will slide off the fitting on the pump).I did this several times on my previous (Hotpoint) machine – and suspect it is no harder on the Bosch (which I now have). If that doesn’t work, you are half-way to replacing the pump, which is not a difficult DIY job and I’m surprised any competent professional repair man wanted to write off a machine where the pump had failed. A new pump should cost around £40-£50 – less than a quarter of the cost of a new machine.DIY fitting would maybe take a couple of hours; a pro ought to do it in less than an hour.
after ensuring the sump hose and transfer hoses are clear clean out the pressure system to ensure the water wash level is not more than usual, secondly check whether the waste hose is not back filling from a sink u bend and also check the sink u bend for blockages (usually fat).
if all ok start to check the wiring connections from pump to pcb board, if these are ok then there may be a fault on the board. (pumping problems are usually easily solved with the above proceedure, the pcbs are rarely at fault for bosch but you may be the unlucky one !). tony
the spray arms are rotated by water coming out of angled jets, this water being forced round by the main circulating pump. suspect it may a fault with this pump
