Try another handset usually portable phones can have 2 3 or 4 handsets in the kit one is unusual if the second handset works then the phone is faulty usually the internal antenna cord has become dislodged which stops it being able to send or receive via the base

Solution 1 remove the battery cover & battery the remove the screws that retain the back cover of the phone & look around around for loose or dislodged connections.
Solution 2 get a 2nd hand phone off ebay (same make and model)
sychronise it with the base & if that works toss the faulty one
Solution 3 theses are relatively cheap Good Guys in Sydney
had Philips & Unident 3 phones & bases for under $50 recently
Solution 4 Get someone like me to repair the phone but it is likely to cost more than a new one to repair it, Pick a solution 1, 2, 3, or 4

A key symbol on the left hand side of the phone is blinking. I'm unble to make a call, its telling me that no link to base. move closer to base, Try again. All the phone cords are in the socks and...

The key symbol is supposed to be an antenna.

It can't receive a signal.

There are a few possibilities:

- Too far from base. Move closer.
- Base is unplugged (no power at base station)
- Phone has become unregistered (unlikely).

If you need to re-register the phone, the process will vary depending in the model of the base station and will be covered in the manual.

Set the phone on the charging cradle and press the ON button while phone is in crade. You may need to use the speakerphone button to do this. Turning the phone on while in the charging cradle will resync your handset with its base. Try it! It should work!

When I press the talk button it says: No link to base. Move closer to base. Try again

Hand each phone up on the base and it will marry it. If you continue to have no link to base make sure everything is plugged in correctly. If it persists you probably have a defective phone.

My panasonic kx-tg4321bx didn't give connectivity response rather than it gives a message "No link to base. Move closer to base, try again"

Well, you could move closer to the base, or try this: RE REGISTER the HANDSET. That works every time when our cordless goes stupid.

Phone says no link to base phone stop working

Try unplugging the base unit and plugging it back in again. This is not guaranteed to help but has worked in the past.

Move closer to base

Either the phone is not registered to the base unit or the RF module is broken. It could be a bad battery but unlikely unless very old or you have not charged it. You should check the manual for registering the phone to the base unit.
