I have HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 color MFP M775dn ptinter and i forgot the username and password to access the setting through the web, any way to reset it please ?

You will need to perform a partial clean. Turn off the printer. Turn it on and watch to boot up on screen closely. When the black line appears under the HP logo, touch the HP logo. Display will go to a black and blue display. Use the arrows on screen to scroll down to administration, select partial clean and press ok, and then press back arrow until continue appears on screen. Press ok and unit will restart. You will lose most of your settings this way but you have no other choice.

I've installed color cartridge but it won't print in color

Try to re-insert the color cartridge into the printer and make sure it is properly seated in the cartridge carrier.
If that doesn't help, try to clean the print nozzles. Please follow the steps below:
1. Press Copy. 2. Press Options until Maintenance appears on the display. 3. Press the right arrow until Clean Cartridges appears on the display. 4. Press Select. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles. 5. Print your document again to verify that your print quality has improved.

Want to print black and white. How?

Setting the font type color in a Microsoft Office Word document to black will ensure that the document prints the text in black. However, if there are images, graphics or photographs within the document, they will more than likely print in color or hued colors similar to black. To ensure that the entire document prints solely in black ink, you must set the color settings on your individual printer to black-and-white

Instructions:
1.Click "File" and then "Print." To open the print dialogue box using keyboard commands, press "CTRL" and "P" simultaneously.
2.Select the printer you are using at the top of the dialogue box under "Printer" and "Name."
3.Click the "Properties" button next to the selected printer. The dialogue box that appears is different for all users, as it depends on the type of printer being used.
4.Click on a tab, button or selection box indicating "Color." Most options include high-quality color, grayscale and black cartridge only. Choosing grayscale will print the document using various shades of gray and other tones such as blue or green that match the actual hues in the document visible on the screen. A photo or picture that may look black or gray could actually have blue undertones. To print purely in black and white with no undertones, you must select either "black cartridge" or "black and white only."
5.Select "OK" to return to the Microsoft Word printer dialogue box. Press the "Print" button to print the black-and-white document.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

HP 6110 is printing different color than on the screen

computer monitors are capable of thousands if not millions of shades and hues of colors that even the most expensive professional grade printers simply can not print. greens in particular. if your creating something you know you'll want to print (say like a business card), you need to create it in "printable" colors. there are programs (like paintshop and photoshop) that can display on your monitor what will actually print. the results will shock you. all this post of course ASSUMES your printer is in proper working order, otherwise your problem will be magnified...

The preview colors do not match the actual print.

This is usually a cartridge issue. If that doesn't work, then try cleaning the printer head. Make sure that there is paper in the input tray. On the product control panel display, touch the tools icon. Touch Tools and then touch Clean Printhead . The product calibrates, cleans, and aligns the printhead and then prints a test page. That happens because the screen color resolution is better than the printer color resolution. You can set your color scheme down to 16 colors. Right click on the screen and select the appearance tab to change the color resolution

You need to clean NVRAM on Lexmark X5470 printer. Please follow the steps given below to clear NVRAM on Lexmark X5470 printer:

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Hold down "#5" button and turn the printer back on.
3. Keep holding "#5" button for about 5-10 seconds.
4. Press "Menu" button once.
5. Press the right arrow until display shows "Tools."
6. Press "Check" button once.
7. Press the "Right" arrow button again until display shows "Maintenance."
8. Press "Check" button again.

10. Press "Check" button again.
11. Press "Right" arrow until display shows "Clean NVRAM."
12. Press "Check" button to clear nvram.

Next, try this printer self-test by following the steps given below:

1. Make sure the printer is in “Copy Mode.”
2. Press the “Menu” button once.
3. The screen will display “Copy Menu: Copies”.
4. Press the left arrow button once. The screen will display “Copy Menu: Tools”.
5. Press the check button once. The screen with read “Tools: Maintenance”.
6. Press the check button once. The screen with read “Maintenance: Ink Levels”.
7. Press the right arrow button until the screen reads “Maintenance: Print Test Page”.
8. Press the check button once. This will start the Self-Test. Once the page has printed, the printer will stop. The test is not continuous.

The self-test should at least print out a set of either a solid black or solid color bars, if not both (if you have a printer with both color and black installed simultaneously). Should this test fail, please try it again without cartridges installed. If the self-test still fails to take paper in and make sounds like the carrier is moving across the paper, this is a hardware issue, and the printer will require service. If the self-test completes without any cartridges installed, run the self-test again with only a color cartridge installed (If you have both black and color cartridges, after this test, run the test again with just the black cartridge installed). If you find that either cartridge causes the self-test to fail, please let us know.

If the self-test prints, but has lines or smudges or other print quality issues, please let us know. This includes any print quality issues - we need to know if the problems you have with your black or color are based in the printer, or communications with your computer, or the computer's software.

If the self-test prints your test bar(s) clearly, the printer hardware is not at fault.

Print cartridge missing

Please remove the cartridges from the printer. Take a dry lint free paper towel and gently wipe the contacts on the back of the cartridge (not the bottom from where ink is present). Wipe the contacts inside the printer (on cartridge carrier). Please snap the cartridges back into the cartridge carrier.

Next, try this printer self-test by following the steps given below:

1. Please turn OFF the printer.
2. Press and hold the "Color copy" button.
3. Now, turn ON the printer.
4. Once you see "0" on the display, release the "Color copy" button.
5. Press the Up arrow button until "2"appears on the display.
6. Press the "Black copy" button to start the self test. Once the page has printed, the printer will stop printing.

The self-test should at least print out a set of either black or color bars, if not both (if you have a printer with both color and black installed simultaneously). Should this test fail, try it again without cartridges installed. If the self-test still fails to take paper in and make sounds like the carrier is moving across the paper, this is a hardware issue, and the printer will require service. If the self-test completes without any cartridges installed, run the self-test again with the color cartridge installed by itself. (If you have both black and color cartridges, after this test, run the test again with just the black cartridge installed.) If you find that either cartridge causes the self-test to fail, please let me know.

If the self-test prints, but has lines or smudges or other print quality issues, let us know. This includes any print quality issues, we need to know if the problems you have with your black or color are based in the printer, or communications with your computer, or the computer's software.
