Duel fuel Rangemaster Classic 90 (10years old) No gas supply to front small burner on hob! all other burners working fine.

Hi Anita,
I am not shure, but do this cooker have already flame faillure device?
In that case I thnk this is the problem.
If not, it is a clogged nozzle.
You can remove that nozzle, that is under the burnercap, with a 7 mm wrench. Then clean it so you can see trough it and put it back.
They look like the ones in the link.

Replace ignition button

Hello Angela,

does your cooker looks like this one?

rangemaster toledo 90 dual fuel oven-0yoolynjmjiwls2vrkoxh3po-5-0.jpg

Then one of the very small buttons should be for the ignition.
To replace that, you need to remove the control board, as they are screwed at the back.
So work for an engineer.

But I know a much easier way.

Clean your button with brake cleaner, or thinner or something like that.
Try to find the cheapest spray can with silverpaint.
Be shure that you have covered all the parts that you do not want to be sprayed and only spray that part of the button that needs to be silver.

Every one will tell you that you are an Expert.

Good luck with it, Dik

Want to fit a new timer to our rangemaster 90 classic, got the part ready

Hi. If this is a ALL electric cooker then you can do the job yourself. If partly gas then you MUST have it done by a ALL GAS qualified engineer.

Its a fairly easy job but you will have to unscrew several screws on on the underside of the front panel and also on the rear of the appliance.
If you would like assistance then please phone me on 01733 307019

Ignition wont work, there is an electrical supply to the cooker

yes there will be a cooker switch located somewhere in the kitchen & from that there will be a supply to a cooker point witch is a white box that is no bigger than a single socket.
there should or should have been a 10mm heat resistant flex running from that to your cooker.
if there is a flex then your ignition mite run off a 3volt battery.check your manual if not then try this web site :
