Hi... i have bought a cable (RCA to connect my ipod to the CD changer aux input) but i don´t know how to switch on the auxiliary input and get to it through the source buttom
According to the manual, the AUX input is an optional accessory.
Check to see if the RCA jacks are labeled. I believe they are pre-outs only.
Best of Luck.
I read the manual, no where does it mention "turning on" the AUXILIARY ot CD input. The manual says it an an optional accessory.
Which to me means, it is a specific connection that would enable the AUX input when connected.
Best of Luck.
You would need to purchase a specific connector to "enable" the AUX input.
I found a photo of it on the Crutchfield website.
Best of Luck.

but how about the CD changer input? what does it mean that it is optional? i should be able to activate it and use it right?
so it means i won´t be able to connect my ipod through that input, cause it doesn´t activate by itself
Yes i already bought one of those. i figure out the problem. when the radio reads the aux input, it activates. however i manage to make it work once, and now it doesn´t reads the ipod input anymore. really weird. maybe one my cables isnt working
