Some companies share generic codes like 'Lw', for low water level or 'DL' for Door Lock. This might help, there are other sites when Googling 'make model error codes'.
Error/Fault Codes for AEG Dishwashers with an LED Display Fault Code ,10 Symptom: Dishwasher not filling with water. Go to: Why is My Dishwasher Not Filling ...
Fault code "i00" means "Low mains voltage"
The electronic board makes sure the dishwasher operates within certain voltage limits. If during a cycle the voltage drops below the lowest limit, the electronic board suspends all loads and interrupts the cycle under way. The "i00" alarm is then triggered. The lowest main voltage threshold is 180 Volt. If the voltage goes back to over 186 Volt, the electronic board cancels the error status and the cycle
resumes. The "i00" alarm is also deleted.
If the mains voltage continues to exceed the maximum threshold, the electronic board does not do anything. My suggestion is to call your local electrician to check the voltage in your home.
Error "i30" means that water remains in base because leakage or overflow. In this case, in order to prevent flooding, drain pump running continuously.
When we talk about AEG dishwasher, drain pump works even the power is turned off (must be connected to the wall outlet, otherwise anti-flooding system will not work).
The noise what you heard during operation indicates that something is blocking the drain pump.
Remedy: you should first remove the water from the bottom of the dishwasher and determine leakage then check why the drain pump makes noise.
If you work around the dishwasher, you always take care that appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.
This error is flood alert because of a leak in the tub. IT might be a seal but you have to remove it and drain it and lay it down to see and then you need parts.
A 49 Error usually always points back to the formatter, however I would at least attempt a cold reset here are the directions: 1. Turn off the machine 2. Simultaneously press and hold the Cancel button and the right arrow button (> ), and then turn on the machine. 3. Wait until the message Permanent storage init. appears, and then release the Cancel and right arrow buttons. Once the cold reset process has been completed, it will either show you a 49 error or ready.
If the cold reset does not fix the 49 error then yes I agree replace the formatter.
Just pulled machine right out, tipped it over on the side, couldn't see anything obvious or a way "in", so re-positioned it - switched on - error message gone and all working fine !!?!
i fixed the problem by tipping the machine over slightly, as suggested by other members, about a pint of water came out the bottom and it now seems to work perfectly.
