Have a Panasonic KX-TG1061C with 3 handsets. Handsets work perfectly. None of corded base unit buttons work.

I have unplugged base unit, detached phone line from base unit. Cannot dial, answer messages, erase messages, use locator buttons on base unit. Handsets all work. Don't know if the fact that one handset seems to have night mode turned on (don't know how to turn this off) matters.

Can I get replacement phones (3) for Panasonic KX-TG6843B 6.0 3-Handset Cordless Telephone? This phone blocks up to 250 calls. If I keep the base, will I keep my blocked numbers.

The stored block numbers should be saved. The database is in the base's memory. Since the KX-TG6843 base can support a total of 6 KX-TGA680S handsets, you can purchase and register 3 new handsets. If needed, you can de-register the old ones from any working handset and then add even more. See page 35 of the manual, ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg6841_mul_om.pdf . Additional handsets are available from Panasonic, http://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG6843B.html , Scroll down to the Accessories section and expand it. Amazon.com also has the handsets: https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-KX-TGA680S-DECT-Accessory-Handset/dp/B00BS4D2CU .

I hope this helps.

Fixing the handset link to base unit of Panasonic KX-TG4500

After the base unit died I was able to restore power by switching out the power adapter of one of the handsets with the one on the base unit. However, when the power was restored to the base, none of the handsets that previously worked were getting a dial tone. I could only use the phone from the base unit. To fix the handsets I first reset the base unit by pressing the reset button with the tip of a pen on the bottom of the base phone then momentarily removed and reinstall the battery on each of the handsets to allow each to reset individually. In doing so, I got the dial tone back on all previously linked handsets without having to reregister them.

Just purchased Panasonic model #KX-TGF380 phone system. How do I turn off built in answering message and record my own message

Make sure that none of the handsets are in use. First, record your own message. Press Menu then # 3 0 2 from the base unit or any handset. Menu is the middle soft key below the LCD screen on the base unit. It's the right soft key below the LCD screen on the handsets. The # key is below the 9. Use the Up/Down arrows to highlight Yes and then press Select. See the screen for the appropriate soft key. After the beep, speak your message while you are 20 cm (8 inches) from the microphone on the handset or base unit. Press Stop when finished. (The phone will stop recording if your message is 2 minutes long.) Press Exit on the base or Off on the handset to leave the menu system.

Turn on the answering machine. Press the button with cassette tape symbol on the base. Press Menu # 3 2 7 on the handset. Your greeting should be heard by incoming callers unless the unit is set to Greeting Only or the memory is full. To check this, press Menu # 3 0 5 . Again, use the up/down arrows to highlight your choice. Press the appropriate soft key to Save the setting.

If you do not want to use the numbers, you can use the Up/Down arrows and Select. Press Menu, highlight Answering Device. Then highlight Greeting. Then select Record Greeting for the first step.

These steps are available in the manual. All except for the greeting length are on page 57. The last section is on page 63. This is available from the product site: http://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/corded-telephones/KX-TGF38.html#q=KX-TGF380&start=1 . Click on the Support tab. The direct link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tgf380_en_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

DeRegistering a Damaged Cordless Phone???!!!!

I have a Panasonic KX-TG6700 base unit and KX-TGA670B handsets. We had a similar problem where we were no longer able to deregister the handset using the handset itself. We wanted to be able to use that slot that the broken phone was still occupyng. The solution that we found in the manual online was to hold down the intercom button for 3 seconds until the "in use" light turned on. Then press and hold the number of the extension you want to deregister until it beeps. At this point the base unit has freed that extension.
