Give this a try.....Timing is not as critical with this method...no stop watch needed. Just count in your head...one-one thousand, two-one thounsand, etc, or usestop watch. The most critical step is step #3....wait 10 sec, instead of 7.

1. Ignition "ON", count to 3.

2. Depress/Release pedal 5 times...hard and fast.

3. Count to 10 (not 7!) and fully depress pedal

4. Count to 12 (SES should be blinking), release pedal

5. Count to 10, depress pedal

6. Count to 10, release pedal.

7. Turn off ignition, then 81377951893%26mt_id%3D570%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fitm%252Flike%252F181377951893%26mid%3D446528%26sdc_id%3D%7Bsdc_id%7D&DealName=12v%20Electric%20Push%20To%20Start%20Engine%20Ignition%20Button%20With%20Red%20Led%20Light%20Up&MerchantID=446528&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=0&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=150102050536&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=19.99&SKU=181377951893">start engine. I had removed the battery from my 2009 Nissan versa reinstalled it now when I turn the key over it will not crank at all everything else seems to work I think it is the anti-theft system how do I reset it

If locking (using the plip) and unlocking after waiting 15/20 minutes doesn't work you can try disconnecting the battery again, leaving it several hours and then opening the door and switching on the ignition and finally reconnecting the battery.

If that doesn't work I suggest you take advice from the dealer or try an internet search.

My security system is locked on i tired to program key fob to much i think and my key has chip in it help cant afford dealer or locksmith 2006 nissan xterra

Nothing you can do , except make it worst . All vehicles from 2000 on have a transponder chip inside the key head . You need a factory or some other professional type scan tool to read codes in the theft - deterrent module . You can't guess an fix the problem . You can buy a launch scan tool for about $800.00 that would work. You need to know the code stored .

Replaced sterring colum now it wont start

S (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System-NATS) has the following immobilizer functions: Since only NVIS (NATS) ignition keys, whose ID nos. have been registered into the ECM and IMMU of NVIS (NATS), allow the engine to run, operation of a stolen vehicle without a NVIS (NATS) registered key is prevented by NVIS (NATS). That is to say, NVIS (NATS) will immobilize the engine if someone tries to start it without the registered key of NVIS (NATS). All of the originally supplied ignition key IDs have been NVIS (NATS) registered. If requested by the vehicle owner, a maximum of five key IDs can be registered into the NVIS (NATS) components. The security indicator lamp blinks when the ignition switch is in "OFF" or "ACC" position. Therefore, NVIS (NATS) warns outsiders that the vehicle is equipped with the system. When NVIS (NATS) detects trouble, the security indicator lamp lights up while ignition key is in the "ON" position. NVIS (NATS) trouble diagnoses, system initialization and additional registration for other NVIS (NATS) ignition key IDs must be carried out using CONSULT-II hardware and CONSULT-II NVIS (NATS) software. Regarding the procedures for NVIS (NATS) initialization and NVIS (NATS) ignition key ID registration, refer to CONSULT-II OPERATION MANUAL IVIS/NVIS. When servicing a malfunction of the NVIS (indicated by lighting up of Security Indicator Lamp) or registering another NVIS ignition key ID no., it is necessary to re-register original key identification. Therefore, be sure to receive ALL KEYS from vehicle owner. System Composition NIEL0174 The immobilizer function of the NVIS (NATS) consists of the following: NVIS (NATS) ignition key NVIS (NATS) immobilizer control unit (IMMU) located in the ignition key cylinder ECM Security indicator lamp.

What can be wrong if scan tool cannot connect to ecu of Nissan hardbody 2006 4x4 3.3i v6

Does the scan tool light up, but doesn't connect. It could be wiring or the ECU. If the scan tool doesn't light up, check fuses. Most DLC connectors are power by the lighter /power point fuse.
