I have tried all the drivers I can find, I also have a Sound Blaster Card, and installed the program from thier disk, no help, have also installed thier latest driver, Device manager says everything is ok but, still no help. OS is windows XP /32 bit.
It is entirely possible that the onboard audio died on the mainboard. They fail quite often. However, in order to use an aftermarket card in place of the onboard audio, you will need to go into the CMOS setup and disable the onboard audio to allow the SoundBlaster audio to do its thing.
Testimonial: "Sounds like a good idea but, my CMOS does not give me that option. There is two jumpers on the board behind the audio jacks, I will try removing them and see if that disables onboard audio. Thanks Bob"
